Their field is a dump, it's a disgrace. Our local HS field is 'Field Turf' and puts it to shame.

But that plays into their favor.
That type of field plays into their brand of football.

The league should make them fix it, but we all know they won't because the Squeelers and the Roonies are the NFL darlings.

Who said we can't play in the snow? Our big boys up front may love the snow and play better -- and the mighty steely defense might have footing problems to stay up with TO, Witten, and Williams.

I wish the barbarian was 100% because he would be fun to watch in the slippery snow as he ran over people.

who cares if it snows? Don't forget that Jag Pitt game last year when the Jag went up to Pitt and destroyed them at home.

Snow isn't a big deal. The field is going to be more of a problem then snow. Wind is more of a problem then snow honestly.

Exactly...and the Boys are built for this type of inclement weather anyhow....our O-Line is huge, the 'Boys have not one, but two physical RB's, big physical wideouts and two outstanding tight ends. On defense, I think they will be at more of a disadvantage, but I don't think there offense is really all that equipped to take advantage of poor weather conditions.

The wind is probably the real concern, along with the field.

If there's a strong wind, plus a wet sloppy field, this will be a field possession game where the team that makes the fewest mistakes probably wins.

It's the kind of game we may very well have to win in January if we're going to go anwhere.

Destroyed? Both games were lost in the fourth quarter.

As for the field, it's actually in really good shape right now. They re-sodded the field after the onslaught of games (Pitt football is done at home now, the High School games have already been played), and it is in fine condition.

Last year was an anomaly. Heinz Field certainly doesn't have the greatest turf but it is usually at least decent. However, last year when they re-sodded the field they had a Monday Night game (the infamous game against the Dolphins) just a few days later. It rained like crazy for days before and after putting the sod on the field so it never actually took that well. Thus, it just became a big swamp and was even more torn up. This time around, however, the weather has cooperated with the re-sodding of the field. I think you'll be surprised to see that the field will be in good condition Sunday.

The field and snow are not the worst thing we face weather wise this week. Winds of 20+ mph will limit our downfield passing attack (for two quarters anyway) which would otherwise be an advantage.

This will be the game that we start our roll. I want everybody to remember it started here on the worst field in the coldest crapiest conditions and the Cowboys found a way to win. Yes our gang of mifits, Romo the undrafted guy, Pac Man back from rehab, Barber with a bad toe, a free agent punter and more injuries than you can name. We will play real man coverage for those sick of zone here. We will go ballin wiht Newman, Scndrick, and the PAc Man. And we will bring the blitz like never before. And you will see our offense with all of it's weapons more or less. Roy, TO, Whitten, and even Crayton. Don't forget Bennett. You know the funnny thing is Jerry talked all last year about Jones being an impact player but it turned out to be Bennett. He is a monster down on the goal line. And don't forget the soul of the team bad toe and all MB III who even though he isn't the next coming of emitt Smith has more heart than any rb ever to play for the Cowboys. He only has one speed. Like Tony says you guys enjoy the journey. It will start here and we will make the playoffs. Remember I am out on the limb here but hey if you are a true believer we are going all the way....

That will all change when one of their players get hurt... :star:

wonder how much the bad field and bad weather help pad their defensive stats.
