Gameday Confessions

I once was following a game during Sunday service via gameday thread/ESPN scoreboard, I let out a small "YES!" when we scored.
The death stare from my wife would have pierced your soul.

In late December of 1991, I spent the better part of my Sunday at the public library doing research for a school project that was due the next day (I was a procrastinator with school work) while the Cowboys were playing in Philly with a chance to clinch a playoff berth. Luckily, a local radio station would carry Cowboys games so I listen to it on my Walkman in the library. Everyone knew I was very happy when Kmart scored on the punt return.

My uncle was a team mate of Roger Staubach at Annapolis. I got to see a game with Roger playing, and after the game I got to meet him. He signed one of my ticket stubs. When Roger played for the Cowboys, I always had that ticket stub next to me, thinking that it would be good luck for the Boys.
MR STAR....they need to do a 30/30 segment of you...classic...

Lol, I found a Walkman in my desk the other day. My daughter thought it was hilarious.

I've skipped family functions for 20 plus years. U name it I've missed it. I like to get behind on the game just a bit now, just to fast forward through 30 ford commercials, but have never watched one recorded because I wasn't home.
Yes, functions can either be scheduled around the Cowboys or I don't go.

I've been watching the Cowboys since 1974. I can't remember ever watching a Cowboy game anywhere but in my home, by myself. Of course, I've allowed my wife and daughter to sit quietly in the room and bring me food and drink as needed, but there is no conversation. I like to focus on the game, is what I tell them. The other day, my daughter asked, "why do you chat with your friends on the CZ during the game, but you can't talk to us?". I had to explain to her, "they aren't my friends, they're a bunch of idiots and I only post during the game to correct them, because I feel sorry for their ignorance.". Sorry, guys!
What are your confessions?

Edit! I don't really think you guys are idiots. At least, most of you. Lol
Your logic is impeccable - makes perfect sense to me :lmao2:
