A SW Florida meal of grilled shrimp, blackened grouper, corn on the cob, and deep fried gator bites. Alcohol too.
Tilapia and snapper are not related. Red snapper is one of the most delicious fish out there. There is fresh and farm raised. I stay away from the farm raised, same for farm raised Salmon. Actually prefer snapper or red snapper or Salmon, which Talapia is a form of snapper, so I was told many years ago when living in Florida.
West Staines Massive! Boo-yahhka-sha!Great minds think alike. “Ayeee, for reals”
Trying a healthy kick this season. Brown and red rice with lentils or beans, and a glass of water.Coog is going to leave work early, pick the kiddos and wife up some pizza and wings, and lay back and watch this victory, let's go Cowboys. What ya eatin!!!??????

Just going by what I was told when I lived down there. I had no reason to ever question that.Tilapia and snapper are not related. Red snapper is one of the most delicious fish out there.
Tilapia is a fresh water invasive fish native to Africa, while red snapper is a salt water ray-finned fish native to Florida waters and the Gulf of Mexico.

That is pretty much my first meal every time I visit my family in Fort Myers.A SW Florida meal of grilled shrimp, blackened grouper, corn on the cob, and deep fried gator bites. Alcohol too.
In the mid 90's the company I worked for experimented with treating human waste in an aquaculture system. Tilapia were featured prominently.ITs well known for people in 3rd world countries that raise it , to defecate in the hatcheries to save on feeding costs. It’s known as the hot dogs of the fish world. Lips, butts and poop.
What happened with results of additional by-products in human waste like medications we consume? Did those things ever transfer to the fish?In the mid 90's the company I worked for experimented with treating human waste in an aquaculture system. Tilapia were featured prominently.
The system actually worked on a small scale.

I know the sliced onions in vinegar as it is very popular among people from Eastern Europe, especially the Ukraine.
Fried liver and peanut butter is new to me.
