My college team had a bye week so I get to over eat for the Cowboys game.

Fried pork chops, mashed potatoes with white gravy, garlic and bacon green beans, baked mac and cheese, and home made rolls. For dessert apple pie with home made lard crust served with ice cream and optional caramel sauce -- home made, of course.

Before you fry those pork chops, reach into your icebox, pull out that jar of bacon fat you been accumulating and rub a bit of that-there on them bad boys.

Keeping it simple today! Early games I will have left over chili I made yesterday. For the Boys game, slow grilling chicken thighs and served over rice with sriracha, hoisin, lime sauce.
