The best CFS that I ever had was at a place called The Cottonwood Inn in La Grange, TX. It had this fantastic yellow gravy and the steak was tender as it could be. The restaurant is no longer there though
I brined a couple salmon overnight and put them in the smoker this morning. Fall tradition. We’ll have brown beans, hot German potato salad and deviled eggs for sides
My wife is making one of my favorites today.
Asado de Puerco with Mexican rice, refried beans, guacamole and flour tortillas. For those that don't know what it is. It's a Pork stew cooked in a red sauce made from dried ancho and guajillo peppers. Maybe someone can post a pic for me....I still haven't figured out how to do that. Lol
What's on your plate? Go Cowboys and Salud!!
Hard to beat fresh Red Snapper. Not exactly sure what happened, but I posted this in the "Lamb and Pollard..." thread. Saw "Lamb" and probably thought it had something to do with today's menu. Ha!
My brother brought us some fresh caught red snapper. So, we're having blackened snapper, dirty rice, heirloom tomato salad and a Russian River pinot noir.
Not exactly traditional fall flavors, but, who can resist red snapper?
Ordered me up some Pollo Regio
I like their salsasI love that place.
There is never a wrong time for ChiliMy wife says it’s a bit early weather wise, but I’m cooking chili today…mom’s recipe.
Throw in some Fritos and cheese…oh my.
Lots of spiked ice tea as well.
Have a great day zoners, and enjoy the boys beat down of the Rams.
