My wife is making one of my favorites today.
Asado de Puerco with Mexican rice, refried beans, guacamole and flour tortillas. For those that don't know what it is. It's a Pork stew cooked in a red sauce made from dried ancho and guajillo peppers. Maybe someone can post a pic for me....I still haven't figured out how to do that. Lol
What's on your plate? Go Cowboys and Salud!!

Chops and gravy.

I'm going to have whatever they are serving at the wedding. That's right, yet another person decides to have a Sunday wedding during football season. Wedding starts at 4PM to boot. That tells me something about the groom. A few things actually.

That reminds me of the Allstate commercial with that "guy who plays Mahem" at a wedding causing chaos as he's trying to watch football on his chair from the ceremony!! Just don't be that guy!! :D

Having some buddies over and each one bringing something......supreme pizzas, hot chicken wings, crinkled fries, cole slaw, beef fajita nachos w/jalapenos, charro beans....and of course cold beer; Modelo and Corona Premier, on ice as we speak.

We are undefeated on days when I wear a certain jersey and drink Shiner Bock. That continues today.

Wife left for a business trip this morning so I'm likely going to black out tonight.

I usually would fire up the Green Egg on beautiful days like today, but I'm feeling especially lazy so I'll likely order a pizza.

Smoking some baby backs, sweet tators, and a Cesar salad. Good game today to really gauge where this team is at and where it may go even with Coop at the helm. Go Cowboys!

Not exactly sure what happened, but I posted this in the "Lamb and Pollard..." thread. Saw "Lamb" and probably thought it had something to do with today's menu. Ha!

My brother brought us some fresh caught red snapper. So, we're having blackened snapper, dirty rice, heirloom tomato salad and a Russian River pinot noir.

Not exactly traditional fall flavors, but, who can resist red snapper?
