Garrett’s inability to develop Dak is the most glaring

I agree with Aikman's observation. He's never seen any QB fix an accuracy issue once in the NFL. That cannot be developed. Don't you think his hs and college coaches tried? Why do you think it took injuries for him to take the QB1 job?

Dak was not drafted to be the franchise, he was a project and at best, a backup. Why do you think they tried to trade up to get Lynch and wanted Cook ahead of him?

after yesterday's game, I am unable to blame garrett for any inability to develop dak. garrett is a lousy excuse for a head coach, to be sure. but dak just doesn't have the skills to be a good nfl qb. last year, and so far this year bear this out. the search begins anew.

Yep

Troy also said our offense with Dak cannot succeed without the dominating running game leading the way which we can’t do when are behind especially by 2 scores or more.

This offense was successful in 2016 and like last week when we are leading in the game. Without a serious passing threat we cannot deliver comebacks thru the air. Which unfortunately doesn’t translate well in the NFL.

Cutting Garrett out doesnt cut the weed out.
Our issues go much deeper.

Get back to me as soon as you devise a plan to get the owner to step out of the picture.

Until then? Getting rid of the head coach who should have never been gifted the job is the best course of action.

You can criticize Jerry Jones forever and it won't make Garrett qualified to be a head coach.

Yep, this was what I feared after last season because unless this brain trust gets into the top 3, maybe even higher, I don't trust them to find that guy. And even then, I am not sure they wouldn't take Leaf over Manning.

However, I do believe there have been coaches not on the Dak train, including the HC and OC. Did you happen to catch that part of All or Nothing where Garrett is playing catch with Dak in that little game that Dak can't seem to beat him at?

The O coaching staff knows just what AL, AU and LSU DC's discovered after he took over at Miss St. He's two QB's, a good one and the one under pressure and watch his eyes when there's chaos in the pocket. QB's that throw high under pressure can't calm themselves down and the mechanics of their lower body dissipate.

I will not be surprised when Booger announces he's keeping Garrett and maybe Linehan to "develop" the QB they draft in 2019. He will completely ignore the lesson of the LA Rams with getting your young stud the right coach and weapons.

Did anyone, ANYONE, really expect Dak to turn a bunch of humps into household names? He's so great that all he needs are mediocre weapons?

LMAO, I think we all thought of that some time back. This is like marrying someone with a monster of a mother, only one way out of that or learn to deal with the monster.

Evidence that he ruined him. There is none. Romo got better as he went with Garrett except for 1 down season IMO. 2014 was his best year. He did not digress in his career under Garrett.

And Garrett "ruined him" by putting it all on him. This team's success and failure was all dependent on Romo. A single point of failure. If Romo didn't make everyone around him better, and change poor playcalls at the line of scrimmage, time and time and time again, this team couldn't get out of their own way.

Look up the years of futility when anyone not named Romo was on the field. This team set records for losing.

Garrett sucks, I don't understand why you need to blame Dak's suckage on him too. Maybe Dak just sucks and is not NFL talent!

I'm not saying that's not a possible explanation either.

If you're saying they both suck? I'm not arguing. But one guy has been very good for one of two years while the other has pretty much sucked for 8 years.

Hey, cheer up, we haven't gotten to the better teams yet. The only hope this team has lies with that defense and keeping that healthy and intact is really going to be a struggle. They're going to be on the downside of TOP and tired players are more prone to injury.

isnt that this man’s forte? Dak has regressed in every aspect of his game.

Jason Garrett was the luckiest man on earth when he met Antonio Ramiro Romo. It made him a very rich man.

If we are looking to replace Dak, we have to keep him away from JG
Dak wasn't even good his first year. his flaws, that are evident today existed then, but masked by victories and fans elation. his throwing was inaccurate then as it is now. his footwork as bad then as it is now. but having been surrounded by great talent that year, it masked all the warts....now that same level of support is not there and everyone thinks he regressed. he didn't. he is what he was then. with less support.

in regards to your comments on Romo and Garrett, couldn't we say that about 50 other coaches and great starting QBs. isn't Caroll lucky to have Wilson fall in his lap? what about McCarthy in GB, without Rodgers that team looked like crap last year. what will happen to Atlanta if Ryan is injured and we saw an incompetent Indy team without Luck. there is almost no coach who has looked great without the right QB....

I am not defending Garrett, but QBs make coaches.....

It certainly won’t . But it deflects where the criticism should reside. To the Football Idiot who named Garrett” the future of the Dallas Cowboys” with only 2 years experience as QB coach.

I have little hope Jerry replacing Garrett with a better puppet.

He’s had much more success than I imagined and I still think with a great QB could have more.

I refuse to join the Garrett “ Lynch Mob” as long as the root of all evil remains in place.

Take solace in the fact that the next guy won't get over a decade to do poorly at his job the way Jason Garrett has. The next guy won't be a member of the 'family' and will actually be judged on merit.

He’s had much more success than I imagined and I still think with a great QB could have more.

Then you need to raise your bar. A lot.

Garrett don't have the ability to develope anyone. He's been a terrible coach as QB coach, OC and HC and was a mediocre backup QB.

Don't. Just don't try to make excuses for what is clearly incompetence just because Jerry is terrible too.

Two wrongs don't and never will make a right.

Right. How did McCarthy do last year after Rodgers went down.

Matt Patricia is smacking his lips at the thought of turning the dogs on dal next week.

Then don’t place all the blame on Garrett. He’s doing the best he can with the tools provided.

He’s part of the problem. Not THE problem.

We’re doomed because of Jerry’s agendas not Garrett’s.

No he isn't. Far from it. The "tools" he doesn't have are the ability to coach.

He’s part of the problem. Not THE problem.

He's "THE problem" that can be fixed.

Again, you figure out how to get Jerry Jones to step down and you'll have a point. Otherwise, you're wasting everyone's time.

My bar is forever lowered with Jerry’s agendas.
