Wait, wait wait.

So those wins are not BIG, but last night in September was?

Does it hurt talking out of both sides of your face like that?

I am sorry HOS but when did I assume that yesterdays game was that kind of BIG GAME??????
I am talking about 2 playoff games and loses vs the Ravens and Eagles last year, those are BIG GAMES.

Then what in the bloody hell are you blathering about that he can't win the big games? You're talking about the playoffs only right now? That's sillier than the assertion he can't win big games. Utter foolishness.

Actually Hos, Garrett said that last night after the game. The video was on dc.com late last night.

Couldn't agree more with what Garrett had to say.

The date on dc.com is today. I wouldn't know that it was any other time. Thank you.

Please read my posts and then say it`s foolish, I was only responding to someone that was comparing Romo`s numbers with Brady, Peyton, Brees and Eli, you got it all wrong.

November = not so big

September has more letters in it than November too. 9 > 8, so that means September games are more important.

How is the Giants game last year and less of a BIG GAME than the Ravens game?

I never said differently. Therein lies the flaw in your theory.

I never said September games were BIG, therin lies the flaw of your theory.

Because we won it so it can't possibly be big.

Unless it had been in September.

Everyone said last night had a playoff atmoshere. That it was electric. Jerry even described it a Super Bowl type week.

As far as the standings, it was just a September game, but on the field where Romo played the game the pressure was enormous, it was a do or die atmosphere and Tony laid a huge EGG!

49 ints in 47 games is significant.

I really want to believe Tony will improve that statistic but I honestly don't believe he can change his DNA.

Like I said before, for you a game in November is BIG and I respect that, not for me though.

I honestly did not think it was this hard to figure out how silly your first comment was that I responded to.

But I will be nice and help you. Here is the post your replied to that started the convo with maso.

Romo's ability to learn from his mistakes is the reason why, over the last 41 starts, he has more games (23) with a QB rating of 100+ than Brees (19), Brady (17), Peyton (18) or Eli (8). It's also why, over the last 41 meaningful starts, he has a similar number of stinker games under 70. He's at 9, Brees is at 11, Brady is at 5, Peyton is at 7 and Eli is at 15.
Are you telling me, in all seriousness that you believe all of those games he quoted are December and January HUGE games?

That is the story you want me to believe? Just so we're clear.

You can't even keep track of your arguments because they are so far off the course.

So if last night's win wouldn't have been big, why is it such a big deal that we lost? Why is the board wanting to lynch our QB?

Forgive me, but I thought the whole premise of this was that Romo last night was just same old, same old... can't win the big game Tony. The very foundation of that argument is that this was a big game. If he had won it then, would it have mattered to you?

Or is it only a big game -- or determinative of how Romo is going to play in big games -- when we lose?

Are you serious or just being silly? How many lead changes were there in the 2nd half and did we take a lead at the end or did the rest of the world imagine that?

Judas Priest, I understand being upset, but does it require blindness too?

i am dead serious.

yes there were lead changes. yes we took the lead.

tony was also 3-10 for 24 yds and an interception.

his contribution to nearly winning that game consisted of a qb draw for a td and converting 1 third down pass just prior to the long run by barber.

Techmo doesn't seem to have learned.

The jury is out if Tony is actually capable of putting into games what he has "learned". so far no evidence is availalbe showing this capability.

it's deja-vu all over again (to quote a winner unlike these two).

Agreed.

Romo's first pick looked eerily like the pick in Pittsburgh that doomed us in that game. And the third pick was nearly indentical to Ed Reed's 2 picks in the Ravens debacle.

Hopefully he will learn from yesterday's mistakes because he certainly didn't learn from the Steelers/Ravens games.

He has NEVER learned from his mistakes. In fact he is regressing.
