and he was wrong about that wasn't he?
Judging by Romo's limited deep ball at the start of the season last year maybe not
and he was wrong about that wasn't he?
I'd also like to add that Romo was itching to get reps in the spring, even going as far switching jerseys. And now he's taking himself out?
Did you watch his presser yesterday? He addressed this very topic.
think maybe they are not telling all they know about romo
He mentioned that it takes 3.5-4 hrs of rehab everyday just to get ready for practice.
He also talked about feeling something there[back], not necessarily pain, but nonetheless something that was felt.
Orton is severely overrated. If Romo is done, the difference between Orton and Weeden is 6-10 to 4-12.
No, he did not say he needed that just practice. He mentioned that it takes 3.5-4 hrs of rehab everyday just to get ready for practice.
He also talked about feeling something there[back], not necessarily pain, but nonetheless something that was felt.
Not to mention that's subjective. Considering the DC offense is incredibly superior to Cleveland.
How do some of you people get through life? What do you do when there's a tornado warning, gather together in a room and ponder suicide?
Read and try to comprehend what Garrett said in his presser. There's no need for Romo to get work in every practice, especially the early ones. There's a huge difference between watching a guys work load and lying about an injury. They do the same exact thing with all guys who are coming off injuries.
Now get off the bridge and resume with your lives.
Babe is the worst source ever. This time last year he was all but saying romo wouldn't be ready to start the season.
Once Romo plays all 16 games, hopefully more, this year than we can look back at this and say how silly Babe was.
So the term full-go has a different meaning now?
You know I could care less about if Tony is choosing when he wants to practice but it had been said many times over that Romo would be fully participating in camp with no issues and that has already been debunked in day 2.
Your right about not rushing him, but 4 hrs of rehab time every day? How in the world will that work in a normal season weekly timeline?
I always find it amazing when I see posts like this.
Let's review.
Babe played in the league as a QB.
Babe played for this team.
Babe knows the management very well and also the head coach very well.
Babe has full access to this team.
Babe is the color man on the radio broadcast with Brad Sham.
Romo said he was ready a few weeks ago
They are holding him out
Romo now says the plan has changed.
They told you it was a cyst last year and he missed a significant part of the pre-season works-outs and such.
Babe said three months ago he thought this might be the beginning of the end for Romo with two back surgeries in one season. And that it isn't all over now, but the slide starts
Babe delivers news which possibly isn't rosy and scares the bejeebers out of the fans of this team and fans of Romo.
Babe is the worst source says you.
Yes, I see how you got to that.
Having had this surgery I can tell you today will be the tell tale sign, feeling a twinge yesterday may lead to pain today, if it does, it's not good. I had to take a couple years off playing golf and my swing now resembles a 90 year old all arms and legs with very little back involved, luckily I sucked before the operation so there's not much difference in my game. I guessing Wheeden will continue to get lots of reps; and we may be fine.
My understanding is golf is one of the worst things you can do with this kind of injury.
FWIW Broaddus earlier said on an interview on the fan, that on the first play in team play yesterday, Wilcox blitzed causing Romo to twist his back while throwing a pass to Beasly. That is where the back problem comes from.......
Everyone talked about the great pass and catch up the seams by Beasly, but not much of the discomfort Romo felt. Everyone viewed it as Romo good to go, but it hasn't turned out that way.
