Hard to know how much longer he can go but his numbers show he has not slowed down 31 TD 10 int I don't care who the QB is those are damn good numbers. He still has never posted a QB rating under 90 which is very rare.

"The following graph represents the percentage of players appearing in the championship game sorted by age, with a best fit line trend line added to smooth the data. We can call this a Quarterbacks lifecycle."

Tony could very well be an outlier at 34, but history and the team supporting him, suggest otherwise.

Not to mention he has had 2 back surgeries. He could be one big hit away from being done.

you mean realists?

romo is old and broken down, deal with it.

Such an odd statement for a Cowboy fan to make ...

Also, as for the "broken down" comment, where is that coming from? You see 2 back surgeries(in reality it's 1), I see 31 TDs and 10 INTs. Just because he's had a recent injury at an older age doesn't mean he's "broken down". Hell, go tell Peyton Manning he's "broken down" as well, though he'll probably just laugh at you.

Everyone knows Tony Romo is obese and over-the-hill, but what people don't know is that he also hates kittens. Just ask yourself one question. Just what kind of sick person hates kittens?

*yawn* Brady is 37, Manning is 38. The former missed an entire season with a torn ACL. The latter just came off his 3rd reconstructive neck surgery made the playoffs 2 straight years after said neck surgery and lit the entire NFL on fire last year. *sigh* but yes please do continue your gloom and doom prediction of our 34 year old qb being washed up and all that.

Are you seriously comparing 2 of the greatest QB's of all time to Tony "1 payoff win" Romo? lol.. shame on you.

I can see and Romo isnt my favorite player. I just dont think we are doomed for the next 7-8 years as the OP stated. Romo is a question mark no doubt. His age and the 1 back surgery are a concern, but I dont know that having a cyst removed is a threat to his longevity. And I think this year we will really know if Romo is in decline as so many around here seem to think.

We were told it was a cyst. However, nobody knows if that is even true.

Yeah, but I can say it BOLDY for one that has had 2 back surgeries. Just ask Aikman.

See you're conveniently glossing over the fact that Manning had that neck surgery. But, it must be because him being Manning gives him super human healing factor. Is that it?

He never compared Romo and those guys as in who's better, he compared them from an injury standpoint.

Surely you can see the difference between the two comparisons, right? ...

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE logically explain to me how the skill level of a quaterback and or playoff wins of said quaterback equates to their physical tougheness and how well they repsond to injury. I will wait

No he can't anytime any comparison is made it is taken as a whole not based on the point you are making. Shame isn't it.
