B.S. every post you make about this starts with "sources" or "we hear"

On the other hand ...... he and his parents have called it maturity issues an mistakes on his part many many times.

You WANT it to be mental health issues ....... to bad for you.

I want it to be mental health issues? Why on earth would anyone wish that on another human being.

I really wish he was just a pot head. That's far easier to fix than mental health problems.

But please, keep spewing your ignorant hate and denying that the man has a legitimate problem. "Oh he's not sick, he's just immature." Such brutal ignorance on your part.

Gregory is done as a cowboy stick a fork in him. 5 failed drug tests.. 5!!!!

Since weed is stored in Fat and it stays in your system for months. How do they know if he freshly smoked weed or old weed? Just asking.

Don't you just wish Garrett would say what he's REALLY thinking?

"I told Jerry this would happen, but he doesn't listen."

I actually saw him speaking on this. He was trying to say what he was really thinking, but he was wearing some kind of weird collar and every time he started to speak it looked like he was being zapped.....

Jerry keeps referring to cap issues with Ro. I do think they will make a move to dump him but, only after
getting every dollar back that they can. He's not with the team and it looks like he's not going to be with the
team any longer than necessary.

I've said before, Jerrah stood by Rolando and he stabbed him in the back. He made the old man look like a tool and now Jerrah is going to squeeze every dime out of him before he's dumped.

I would like to cut Rolando and try to trade Gregory for something. Doubt we get much for him but worth a try

Good idea -- at this point, we could probably get at least a small bag of potato chips for RG.
(I believe it increased his value when he recently saw fit to attend that rehabilitation facility.)

In Rolando's instance, perhaps the Cowboys would be inclined to pay a team to adopt him.

To get this money back it means keeping him until the end of the suspension.

The only other option I can think of is that he's decided not to attend camp. If that is the case, he's basically calling it a career. Of course, if he officially retires, he's gotta give all his bonus back. I expect we'll work out something with his agent so that he gets the 250k or so that he'd get if we cut him after the suspension and he officially retires. That's like the best case for us as it free up his spot on the 90 man roster.

Yep, exactly right Abe. Just heard on talkin' Cowboys with every day he misses in camp they start getting money back from him. The team also makes money on his game bonuses which amount to a million dollars as long as he's on the suspended list so they can either keep him in hell or his agent can cut a deal. Right now I think the team wants to stick it to him for awhile.

That's why Stephen called his situation "nuanced."

Like he did with Ratliff?

You know I'm good with that. We need to get every single dime back from this contract we gave him

This comment is taken to be specific when it was generic. He was talking about in general the team will at times move on from some guys. This was said in regard to Dallas taking risks on players. He essentially said there are times when those risks pay off and times when they don't. "We're going to move on from some guys" could refer to players this year or players they bring in in the future. Garrett was waxing philosophical about risk taking.

Gregory has exceeded everyones worst fears about him. I bet no one thought he would fail two drug tests this quick.

It just goes to prove what one individual can accomplish when he's intent upon doing his own thing.

Please excuse -- I'm in a flippant mood today for some reason . . . might be due to TC starting.

That's what I don't like people clowning on the right kind of guys with Jason. He didn't want these guys to begin with. It would be a different had he had control. We wouldn't have drafted Gregory for one thing. And that not a total endorsement of garret, I'm just saying he's catching flack for jerrys whims.

It will be interesting to see if Gregory can get through his suspension before failing his third drug test.
