You want a guy who did not make a great defense while at Dallas, did not have a great Defense with New Orleans as head coach...yet you don't want a guy that has had very good defenses everywhere he has been in Phillips.

And he calls that "objective"...

I've clearly shown in this thread that he doesn't... he's never won jack anywhere he's gone... he's never overseen what you could fairly call a dominating defense, either...

Perqs is my personal abbreviation for the word "perquisites"... while it's not correct, using "perks" instead just doesn't LOOK right to me, what with there being no K in perquisites...

Just like the word "judgment" doesn't look right to me, so I invariably use the Anglicized version, "judgement"...

Please believe me when I say I don't care if you like my personal preferences in these matters or not, and that I'll continue to spell that word the way I did whenever I feel the need to use it...

I strongly disagree. I believe I have touted very qualified candidates. I'm glad Gibbs is getting an interview, would be great if he's the pick. He's a former LB himself. If they're so bad, why are we interviewing them? My tastes are far from strange. I seek a winner.

Everybody here is seeking a winner too... but as far as experience... Wade Phillips is WAAAAY more experienced than Gary Gibbs at coaching overall... getting Gibbs to run a 3-4 would have us in the same boat at this past season IMO.

Now, that's going WAY too far! The Boz doesn't have the experience necessary to be DC, he's never called a play!

And, you guys quit accusing ol' Philo of jumping on bandwagons. He's very comfortable in the front of his Sooner Schooner.
