But at the end of the day, I'm going to let you in on a little secret.

I don't give a rat's behind who gets the credit. I just want the Cowboys to win. I don't care if it's the way I think they should do it, or they think they should do it. Just win. It's all I care about. The credit thing is a sickness from the lunatic owner. A fully functioning grown adult male of sound mind wouldn't care about such trivial things.

Agreed on the winning and the credit. I've said this at least a hundred times on these forums in the stupid debates about Jimmy and Jerry. I don't give a crap who gets or got the credit. Winning is all that mattered.

Unfortunately neither the owner or Jimmy Johnson fit under your description of a fully functioning adult male with sound mind because they both cared WAY to much about getting all the credit.

RS, you can't say it matters who gets the blame and at the same time say you don't care who gets the credit.

It's mainly due to two things:

1. No real QB between Romo and Aikman
2. Lack of depth at many positions

Which falls on him and his people for not putting together quality depth and for not even attempting to look for Aikman's successor until it was too late and then wasting picks on QBs who he thought would fit the lasted trend or fade when it came to the QB position in the NFL at the time.

Jerruh's homers conveniently forget his QB pets: Q, Hutch, Henson, etc. THAT more than any other single thing is what crippled us when Aikman left. BP brought in Vinny as a stop gap and then Bledsoe which while it did not work very well was at least a reasonable idea compared to Jerruh and his pie in the sky picks.

Yeah...it really hasn't been Jerry for over ten years talking about credit, blame, etc. In fact, he is very complimentary to every head coach that has come into the organization, has been very self critical, and has changed quite a bit.

2-3 years ago he pointed out that he did not feel that his job was up to par and that he had done well, and that he needed to change things. He has followed through on that and we are now seeing the benefits. But that piece gets ignored because it doesn't fall into the Jerry the Villain narrative so well.

Do Commanders fans defend Snyder? If I were a Commanders fan I would consider him enemy number 1.

"We want you as our Head Coach, but you can't bring your West Coast Offense and 3-4 Defense here. We don't play that way." --No GM ever

I was not referring to coaching philosophies or choosing players based on the scheme.

Jerry Jones is so dependent on "listening" he is at the mercy of his head coach. He has no organizational philosophy. He does not have an idea of what he wants to do philosophically and often relies on the head coach and his staff for that direction.

He can be influenced more than another GM who has an independent eye for talent. He will be only as good as who he surrounds himself with. He is not like other GMs that will be out of a job if that relationship fails, which makes it worse.

It seems like the relationship with Garrett is paying more dividends than say Switzer, Gailey, Campo or Phillips and it could get even better with time.

Sure he can, he just did.......oh you mean figuratively

I believe he's saying he doesn't care who gets credit for winning which unfortunately was a big issue between the two bozos back when they were stacking championships and building grudges

Vinny over Kurt Warner, whom Jerry wanted.

I've been sharing that since 2004. Brenda Warner even said on her radio show that Kurt "likes stars." Parcells got his guy, Warner went to Arizona.

Again, link?

If Dallas was linked to a former Super Bowl winner and feel good story like Warner, I would think there would be more than a simple comment from his wife about it.

Sorry, not buying it. I do not care how many times you claim you have "shared", which honestly I have never noticed either.

Ask cajuncowboy. He worked in Christian radio with her. I don't care what you've noticed. Do a Google search. Not my fault you haven't paid attention.

So, an obscure comment from his wife on Christian radio equals what you are suggesting?

Don't get defensive. You are the one making definitive statements that Jerry Jones wanted him and Parcells got his way instead.

And as for Google search, why isn't there a site search function around here? We could find everything you have "shared".

I haven't been on the staff here for years. Ask them.

Here's how Google works. Enter "Kurt Warner Hostile Cowboyszone."

Look what I found.

Thank you, I checked all of these.

Yet I fail to see anything other than your anecdotal commentary. And honestly, "ask Cajun" does not qualify as something that can be verified.

Then don't ask him. I really don't care. I'll stand by the truth as I always have. By the way, did you know Warner was a Staubach fan?
