Easily my pick for FotN and could be one of those FotY candidates if it goes like it should.

I'm afraid GSP may take BJ down and just control from the top for quite a while which is why I don't think it will live up to the insane hype.

But I love Clay and his relentless pace. No one even compares to Clay's pace, IMO. It's a joy to watch him fight and I wish some fighters would at least take a little bit from his playbook.

I fully expected Guida to work more. He pressed Diaz, but did nothing but put him in bad positions and did nothing else. Kinda disappointed in Guida not doing more like he usually does.

And someone actually scored that fight in favor of Diaz? What? Guida easily took round 1 and 2.

You haven't watched much Clay Guida if you think that. Easily one of the most exciting fighters in the sport. Tonight just wasn't his strongest showing.

That is 5 split decisions out of 7 fights. That's incredible and weird at the same time.

he's not that exciting when he fights a decent fighter. he's a pure wrestler and hard worker but nothing special as a fighter. karo hasn't finished a fight in like 5 years

You didn't watch his fight versus Huerta in which he was dominating until the 3rd round in exciting fashion. How he ran through Mac Danzig. His fight with Tyson Griffin, which most say he won. His fight with Gilbert Melendez. His fight with Josh Thomson. His win over Marcus Aurelio.

All these guys are quality lightweights. He has beat Thomson. Gotten SD's with Melendez and Griffin. Disposed of Danzig. Just flat out lost after dominating Huerta.

Dude has talent. To deny that would be just silly. Even more silly to give him crap about his performance tonight when he has made a career out of having the most exciting fights.

Man, Bonnar has a head made out of granite. That spinning back elbow by Jon Jones was nasty and caught him flush.

This Jon Jones guy looks like he could be a force down the road. Hell, the guy is this young and handling a guy like Stephan Bonnar already? That's damm impressive.

His throw in the 2nd round was awesome.

I think UFC's LHW division just found it's next potential superstar. Extremely impressive performance from a 21 year old kid fighting a veteran like Stephan Bonnar.

Anyone want to comment on Lyoto now? He was on his way to a 10-8 first round domination of Silva, but decided he would KO him instead.

Literally, the guy is the most cerebral fighter I have ever seen. His fights are more in your mind than they are in that cage. He forces you to make mistakes and everytime he will pounce. IMO, it's incredible to watch such a smart fighter.

In the short time I have been watching, that was the most impressive fight by one guy.

I literally love BJ Penn's entrance. It has to be one of the best in all of fighting. The music and how it hits right when he enters and can be seen by the crowd is amazing.
