I have no idea where he was going or coming from with the weapons. Its possible he had just came from shooting them. Its possible he was taking them to show someone. No idea.

I do know that I carry 2 pistols in my car when I am driving. One on my back and one next to me.

Why??

Trying to compare a 1st ballot HOFr to a 1 year wonder is a terrible thing to do.
you saw him quit on routes. you saw him not fight for the ball. point is the guy never lead a team to a superbowl win. if he couldn't win one with that 2004 eagle team he wasn't gonna help this cowboys team win one. the guy is just one of those very good players who will rack up major stats but will never win a championship just like A-Roid of the New York Yankees.

Man..we were going to get a good comp pick for Canty and Burnett too!!!

Are we certain that the rules for comp picks won't change in an uncapped year?? I mean, a lot of the other rules will change-- you don't become an unrestricted free agent until after 6 years of service, rather than 4 years, teams that finish in the top 8 (I think it's the top 8) can't sign any free agents unless they lose one, then they can only offer a free agent what the old player was making (or maybe it's what the old player got in free agency, I'm still a little fuzzy on the details)...

My point is, few if any of us really know what the rules will be next offseason, if a new CBA is not negotiated, an event that appears to be unlikely... but I'm pretty sure Jerry and Stephen know what the rules will be, and their plans this offseason are taking that new reality into consideration...

Anyway sounds like he's more of a knucklehead than a problem case. Hope it doesn't translate on the field, we've got enough knucklehead stocked up here.

I think that's a good take, wilee... but I do think we've cut way down on the knucklhead factor this offseason...

Try reading the links. He has been arrested 3 times.

For misdemeanors each time...

On the positive side, he apparently learned his lesson when he was cited for the unregistered gun, now his guns are registered... this suggests he has some respect for the law... and if the arresting officer let him finish his haircut before taking him in, that seems to suggest that he was nothing but polite and respectful to the officer... as was the case when he was first caught carrying an unregistered gun, he told the officer where it was...

My point is, though he likes guns and he likes to drive fast, it doesn't appear that he has a sociopathic personality... as wilee said earlier, he's just a bit of a knucklehead, who probably needs to grow up a little more... hey, my 31 year old nephew lost his license twice for being a leadfoot (guess who got to be his chauffeur both times), now he's finally learned that he has to follow the rules of the road... he also likes his guns, has several tattoos and multiple piercings... but for all that, he's no thug, he's actually a decent guy...

Liking guns and driving too fast does not make you a "criminal"...

None of us really know how good Romo is, since he's never played without a Hall Of Fame WR.

That ex WR you speak of, everywhere he's gone, he's made the QB look like a bunch of Joe Montana's, once he was gone, they came back down to mediocrity where they were to begin with, out side of McNabb who was a pretty good QB before.

Bottom line, the fans made this decision not Jerry the Clown. So I'll be around all year, and I'll give Romo the same respect they gave to the HOFer. But I'll be fair and judge my decisions on "on-the-field" play instead of what he does in the locker room.

Why is it crying if it obviously does not make any sense.

The guy can't stay out of trouble.

Seems he just needs to stay out of Kingsport, and he should be fine... :D

Terry Glenn was a good receiver, but certainly not HOF-caliber.

That's ok. Steve Young, Jeff Garcia, Donnovan McNabb and Tony Romo aren't and weren't mediocre QBs without TOxic, either.

You guys are protecting a future bench warmer, good luck with that. Our future QB is in the draft next year.

Based off of play on the field to-date, that's insane.

I like what I do. I get to sit at my computer and predict games, predict what Jerry Jones will do, have a blind eye to horrible play as long as I like the guy, I love what I do. It's what we all do. :D

Let's see. I love seeing my QB throw 2 and 3 interceptions in big games. I love watching my QB sail fades and deep balls out of bounds. I love watching my QB not being able to take a sack without fumbling the ball over. I just love it to death.

I want that guy on my team forever, and no way will I ever draft another QB even if my QB does all of those things.

Sorry Clove, but that is just a bunch of BS!!!

Our future QB happens to be our current QB and his name is Tony Romo.

You see, when a franchise makes the kind of commitment that we have made to Romo, you dont go and draft QBs high. You draft QBs late and hope they develope into good backups or into trade bait.

Thus, we will not be using 1st or 2nd round picks on QBs, just not going to happen. We may spend a 4th or a 5th on a developmental guy, but not with the idea that he is going to be a future probowler. Those are similar odds of winning the lottery.

Besides, Jerry is building for NOW. Most of our stars are in their late 20s, so we have a window of about 5 years in which to make our run. We dont have the time to develope a QB for 3-4 seasons and then when he is ready to go, all the surrounding talent is retiring.

So no, our future QB is not in this years draft or next years draft or the draft after that either. The simple reason is because Jerry will not draft a QB high as long as Romo is in his prime. Jerry just said that the whole team needs to be "Romo friendly" and he plans to build the team around Romo who he said "has special abilities other QBs dont have".

So Jerry is going to go from "lets build the team around Romo" to "lets draft his replacement next year"?????

Dont think so.

I'll give you the fumbles. The rest of that doesn't describe Tony Romo that I've ever seen.
