Giants winning one against Philly is the most realistic path to winning the division

That's our best chance. As unlikely as it seems, division rivalries aren't always determined by which team is better that year. NY has 2 shots at playing the spoiler for us. Let's just hope they're more pissed at Philly than they are with us.
Spoiler? Giants are one game back from a wildcard spot lol

Where are you coming up with a two game lead for us?

Even if Geno Smith plays and they beat Philly, we still need to beat both Miami and Buffalo to win that tiebreaker. Both on the road. If we lose one of those games, then we would need Philly to then lose to the Cards, to give us the common games tiebreaker.
Miami and Buffalo are AFC teams and have no bearing on conference or division record. If they lose to one of their NFC opponents then we can lose to an AFC opponent and still get the tie breaker.

Head-to-head, common opponent, division, and conference records are all a wash and we win on strength of victory.

If Seattle beats them and we lose to Miami are we in? Assuming we both win the rest of the games

False. Miami and Buffalo are common opponents that Philly already beat. We need to beat them to keep pace.

Also, your order is wrong. It goes Division second, common opponents third.

No. Us being + 1 vs Seattle would be negated by us being - 1 vs Miami in common opponents.

We would be back to current state.

This is where it would get tricky. It would go to the 5th tiebreaker: strength of victory, which i believe we have the edge

False. We would lose on Common opponent tiebreaker assuming they beat Arizona.

And we may lose strength of victory tiebreak too. Strength of victory is a misnomer. It means the records of the teams you beat. It depends where everyone finishes.

Giants are playing well. Green Bay was playing really well.

Let’s hope Giants enter the games still fighting for playoffs.
As much as it pains me to say this "Go Giants!" ugh I think I'm going to be sick lol.

Not to derail this thread, but those uniforms the giants wore last night are absolute fire. Top 5 in the nfl

Dallas winning out and the Eagles losing to Seattle is the most realistic chance IMO.

I stand corrected. We will have to dissect strength of Victory if it happens.

This is same if we lose to Bills instead of Miami too.

It should be point differential in common games frankly.

That scenario gives the Eagles the division under strength of victory tiebreaker if other teams wins/losses go as expected in the playoff simulator. It will definitely change each week in each other’s favor.

It's possible.

We were lucky to catch the Giants at their worst (we've lucked out like that repeatedly this year)

Danny DeVito may only be good for 2 months his whole life before he remembers he's Danny Devito and his stupit adgent crawls back in his whole....but Philly will catch them during Devito's hot streak.

If you have a QB that on a streak....even if he'll never amount to anything the rest of his career, they can be a dangerous team.

If we lose to an AFC opponent and and they lose to an NFC opponent we go ahead.

That also was not an order. That was just all of the tiebreakers that would be tied.
