Just because Brandt works for NFL Network that doesn't mean he's now prone to just make stuff up and throw random, unsupported stuff on the wall.

Basically you are now questioning Brandt's integrity.
I question the integrity of anyone who works for NFL Network, ESPN, DallasCowboys.com, Fox Sports, etc., etc. They're paid to get attention. It's called advertising money.

He actually is. HE'S AN ANALYST FOR NFL NETWORK! Hello, McFly are you there?

So your theory is Brandt is just making up stuff about the Cowboys because you don't want to hear what he's saying?

A bit of friendly advice: stop embarrassing yourself. Brandt was Landry's right-hand man for 28 years. He talked to Dak and shared his opinion, which carries a lot more weight than the theories you concoct from your sofa.

honestly if his shoulder isn't 100% you cant put him out to start a 17 game season....he will just hurt it more and will mean much worse performance over the long haul.

You can't play him until his should is 100% healed, which would probably mean we lose the first few games.
 My God you fans will believe anything.

Maybe you don't realize that practices in Dallas are closed to everyone except on certain days when the media can attend and on certain days when both media and fans can attend. But besides that he's been throwing 20 yard outs. You can see that in the Arizona pre-game warm ups. The reason he's not throwing in 11-11 and 7-7 is they don't want some over eager rookie from falling on him. Jeez, why does this even have to be explained. You haters will twist any possible tidbit to fit your narrative. I mean you obviously want him hurt and that's sad. And you're not the only one either.

Maybe you don't realize the coaches talk after the practices and McCarthy has been quite clear they have limited his practice time, he's on a "pitch count" and that they restricted him from making certain throws.

And your logic on the 11-11 and 7-7 practice is moronic. They let him do all drills before he hurt his arm, with no fear that some young guy would fall on him and hurt him but now they are concerned? LOL.

The reason why he's not doing full drills is because they aren't ready to let him go full bore in throwing. That's obvious to anyone paying attention and listening to the coaches.

No McFly I didn't say that an you know it thus the McFly reference. Brandt is speculating because he works as an analyst for the NFL Network and is paid to speculation on controversial issues. Hellllloooooo.

No his theory is that anyone who ever works in the media now makes stuff up.......... all the time. So forget that Brandt was a long time NFL executive that is well liked and very well respected in league circles. Now that he works for NFL Network, he's become media scum with no integrity, etc.

So when Brandt says he's not sure if Dak will be 100%, Brandt just made that up out of thin air.

This is why I don't get those that want Dak to get reps in a meaningless pre-season game. Your QB had an injury, the depths of which we'll never know, and you want to throw him out there when he could have more time to ensure the injury is put to rest, all to relieve YOUR anxiety that he won't be properly prepared. QB is THE most important position on the team. You don't mess with that.
This!!! ^^^

It wasn't pretty because the gameplan obviously should've been to be run heavy but of course they go pass happy....well it felt pass happy I don't even know if he even threw that much lol.
Prescott threw 44 times\ 25 completions, 265 yds, no TD or INT.

He's been on a pitch count since day 1 and that pitch count has increased every day. And you think some coach is going to say something negative about Dak's injury even if it was the case? LOL. You don't watch preseason games so you wouldn't see that the backup QB's pretty much suck so they are being extra cautious with Dak.

He's paid to speculate based on information at his disposal. And he has connections with the Cowboys, talked to Dak, etc. And despite your ignorant rant, he's not one to just throw up tons of random crap on the internet for ***** and giggles. If he's saying he's not sure he's 100% healthy, he likely has some pretty good reasons why he thinks that.

Rocky, how can you not see the glaring hypocrisy in that statement?

Much love,

Hypocrisy? What hypocrisy? Dak's fine. McCarthy said he's getting him ready for week 1. The players have said he'll be there for week 1. Dak says he's ready to play now. What is this hypocrisy you are talking about?

You couldn't possibly be more childish if you tried.

If it's what you want to hear it's gospel, no matter who says it. If it's not what you want to hear then it's a lie, and anyone who disagrees gets called childish names.

Grow up. If you can't handle different opinions without lashing out that way then maybe the internet isn't for you?

Because we were told he is fine but they are just being cautious. In reality, he's not fine.

I'd love to know your source for this assertion. Where do you get this inside knowledge that contradicts everything we are being told and can see for ourselves on the podcasts, on Hard Knocks etc. He looks fine every time they show him.. They just want to keep it that way.. he has shown that if left to his own devices he will overwork himself which could exacerbate the injury. They are doing what needs to be done to keep that from happening. Which is fine by me..

But he's still on a pitch count. He's still not allowed to any work beyond some light tosses and simple drills. As of yesterday, and McCarthy confirmed this, he's even restricted on the type of passes he's throwing. So clearly they still have concerns about where his arm is. If they were just worried about a guy hitting him in a live drill, he'd still have zero restrictions in non contact drills but he doesn't. He's still extremely limited in what he can and can't do throwing the ball.

And the point here is that if we get to late next week and he's still severely limited in what he's allowed to do throwing wise, guess what? That tells any sane person they are still concerned about his arm injury.
