he is probably still rehabbing.
they are probably not going to be sure, so they will have to invest the roster space in case he is ready.
they can always IR him later?
I'm pretty sure they can IR him later if they choose to. However, if they have no hope for this year, they'd go ahead and IR him now. If they practice him starting next week, there's at least a glimmer of hope. That's my understanding of it, anyways.

that is my understanding also.
if there is a chance for the playoffs, they will spend the roster space, unless we have an injury disaster this weekend.

people we can cut during the waiting period: sanchez, the new WR. possibly emmitt cleary if Tsmith and Green are healthy enough, the worst performing DE, Gachkar? have not heard wilber mentioned for a long time.

just no DB until Mo status is more clear.

so even if we put him on the roster, it is no guarantee.

Why do we think Jaylon...a rookie...is going to give us much if he were to come back in the playoffs? This is great news for the future....and it wouldn't be unprecedented for a rookie to be great out of the gate....but he's had so little real practice (yet alone game time) over the course of the last year...and he's jumping into the playoffs?

Here's to hoping..
yes and would he even be in game shape??
I think at best he is for 2017

I don't care as much about him being available this year as much as I care about the nerve is firing. That's awesome.
That's the key. If he can get back this year and at least get some practice time that's a bonus. If can actually get some reps that's even better. But the real key is having him 100% by camp so he can compete next year

Im really surprised at the lack of enthusiasm in this news. Do people realize how special of a player this kid was before he got hurt? His nerve firing is the biggest news this season for us minus Romo's statement.

i think all that can be said has been said.
it is now wait and see till 22nd
most of the medical people have said his nerve has probably been firing for quite a while.

These people don't understand THE DAMN NERVE IS FIRING. That is the first step in Jaylon firing players ***** on the field.
