At this point I wouldn't be against giving Rush or Lance a chance. This team is struggling for a SB run , if we stay as is were going for a wild card chance at best at least this way we can either get a better draft pick or see what those guys can do.

What do we have to lose at this point? This team is going nowhere so we might as well let him develop.
I agree. Let's see what Lance can do. I've said this several times tonight but I really hope after the bye Lance gets promoted to either 2nd or 1st. As long as he's ready. He needs reps and we need hope or someone new. Dak is done. I'm also getting worried that the team is starting to get resentful of Dak. Ala Micah and CD.

We have seen Rush. He is a reliable backup at best.
He is a successful starter who got Noah Brown paid while playing the 2 representatives in the Super Bowl the year before and only lose to the NFC representative in the Super Bowl that year

Why would he get destroyed . . . Cowboys have a great Offensive Line and a Ton of weapons that get open? . . . I am confused
He can't read a defense to save this life. He will resort to tucking the ball and running. Fresh hamburger meat for linebackers.

I would rather play Rush at this point. Him not reading a defense is expected but this offense would help him develop. I feel he would be more successful then Dak if not the same

Honestly i saw his highlights and he looks like he could run this offense just a well as dak, maybe better cause he's more mobile. He has a good arm as well.
We could also do RPOs. I mean who knows what could happen. He could be soaking up the playbook and learning the offense. Another aspect to this is what if the offense gets sick of Dak and quits on him. CD is pouting on a weekly basis. Dak threw up a couple hospital passes were guys got hit right in the ribs. Maybe Lance brings in a breathe of fresh air. Who knows. One thing with Lance is don't play him unless he is ready. I'm cool with benching Dak if it means Rush comes in. I'd love Lance to start but not until he's ready and has a fair shot at running the offense. I'm hoping and praying that behind the scenes he's making strides with the playbook and learning all he can. But if he's not ready then don't play him. Just go with Cooper and look for next year as Lance's chance. I really do wish we had some updates on how he's acclimating to the offense tho. Cuz I'd love to turn the keys over to him. Dak is done and he might be losing the team. After the 1st quarter the whole team looked like they didn't want to be there. Offense and Defense.

This team wins with Rush so the Draft position thing goes out the window . . . But i agree with everything else
I wouldn’t with Rush..

He’s the same as Dak.

Go with the player who has upside.

Lance will get a chance next season barring a Dak injury this season. Love it or hate it this is Dak’s last stand. The Cowboys have paid him and will give him every opportunity to earn his money. As a Dak Stan my man looks like a shot fighter.
