Again, you are missing the point.

Romo can wear his starter hat and ripped t-shirt all he wants, he can even wear the hat backward.

Any guesses why?

Hint: It has to do with the setting.

You're banging your head against a dense wall. :laugh2:

I don't know how you keep misunderstanding this.

I'm not making any judgement on Bryant based on his clothes.

I'll say it again, when players show up to interviews or other professional settings dressed inappropriately, it reflects poorly on their maturity level. There are already concerns about Bryant's maturity, concerns that don't stem from his manner of dress. However, if Bryant shows up to his team interviews wearing sweats, then it will be further evidence of his immaturity.

Miles Austin wearing his hat off to the side is fine, that doesn't bug me. Romo wearing his hat backward is fine, that doesn't bug me. The difference is in the setting.

There's no sense in attempting to apply logic or reason to any issue where other people have their emotions involved.

Bottom line: if Dez Bryant wants to hit up Target wearing sweats and a baseball cap, that's fine. For a job interview, however, sweats and a baseball cap would be completely inappropriate, period.

I'm still impressed that Jason Williams showed up in a suit.

Players that want to make a positive impression would do something like that.

Heck, anyone that wanted to make a positive impression would do something like that.

Why is that part dumb?

What you wear says a lot about who you are.

When people expect you to look professional, you show up looking professional.

His clothes designer must be from New Orleans.

In regards to Mickey's quote about dressing well for the interview and the comparison to Deion & Irvin.

Let us not forget that Michael Irvin never turns down the chance to wear a suit and tie!! The man wakes up in Armani.

Oh give me a break. You are judging him by the clothes he chose to wear. You can babble about setting all you want but that does nothing to mitigate this.

I am just glad this post WW2 social conservatism is going away.

I still don't care he came in a suit. It didn't help him being active on gamedays or avoid injury.

Because he has a hard time waking up for practice and classes, in college.

Randy Moss hated practice, loved smoking, and didn't like lifting weights. Didn't stop him from destroying the league, and always making sure to remind us how much he wanted to be a Cowboy.

Botta boom.

The word "sweats" appears once in the article and it's in reference to what Randy Moss wore. How can I be judging Dez Bryant based on a choice that Randy Moss made?

Do you understand?

I'm sorry I thought you made sense. Its not a difficult choice who was the better player between Williams and Moss. Theres really no bigger indictment of your stance than that.

I'll tell you what. You go by what they look like and I will go by what they can actually do.

They have nothing to do with Tate. Besides, last time I checked Fasano has outperformed Bennett.

No he has not I com[pared stats from his rookie season to his and they where almost the same exact stats and Fasno started the games where Bennett was a back up.

i covered that last year Bennet his rookie season who never started put up stats similar to Fasno a guy who had over 4 years in the league and was a starting TE

Fasno is a joke Phillips is better than Fasno

Didn't I already say that a players manner of dress wasn't an indicator of talent? The Williams/Moss talent level point has nothing to do with my argument. Go back, read everything again, I'm saying that the way a person dresses is a reflection of their personality.

There are countless examples of talented players who failed in the NFL because they were immature. If the NFL Draft were as simple as taking the most talented player then it wouldn't be the crap shoot that it is. A lack of maturity is a serious red flag.
