Win. Win against an undefeated. On a short week, Then win on the road for all of the five games left but one.
Even the most positive of this board has to agree that is asking more than is most likely possible from a wounded team with no identity and no chemistry.
The Green bay and Carolina games are tough, they all could be tough, but Dallas will be heavy favorites in all four of their other games... Heck, they even opened up as slight favorites over an undefeated Panthers team... Tell me the last time a healthy 10-0 team was even a slight underdog to a 3-7 team? I would venture to guess that this week is the first time that has ever happened... Four out of five on the road, that plays right into our hands, as Romo has not lost a regular season road game since the 2013 season (11 straight road wins and counting)...
Looking at the Giants remaining schedule, I would also contend that 8-8 could still win the division...

You don't think it's possible that the 5-5 Giants could lose 3 out of those last 6 games? I do.
This is obviously meant for those who haven't already given up on the season. Do you pack any playoff hopes if Dallas loses?
I won't be able to because I believe it would be still possible for Dallas to win the East, even though it would take some things falling in place.
Obviously, we'd need to win the rest of our games. (I don't see us being able to win the division at 7-9, so 8-8 is likely needed)
The Giants would need to lose three games, which I expect them to do anyway, but at least one of those losses would need to be to either Washington or Philly. Ideally, it would be to Washington (because we might need Philly to lose to New York).
Beating Washington twice would be enough to give us the division over them.
Philly also would need to lose at least twice. If the Eagles lose only two of their remaining games (I think they'll lose more) then one of those losses has to be to the Giants.
Better division record with every team at 8-8 gives us the division.
I gave up a long time ago. Winning this game will only piss me off over the opportunity lost this year.

To me, for Dallas to have a shot at this Phoenix-like rise from the Romo injury ashes, they need to win the next three games.
Any falter, any stumble, and the season is on life support. One could make an argument the Giants can cave. And Philly is circling the drain. But the aspect known as reality - not the site owner - still stares this franchise in the face.
8-8 will not win this division, and not winning the division, the season is over.
Come big, Cowboys, or stay at home.
Now there will be some who suggest this is a loser's mentality. Others will profess i don't have a crystal ball, nor do i know the future.
But if the doctor tells you they have discovered a serious disease in your body, no matter how positive you are, at some point you need to assess the downside of that discovery.
Lose one and the season is over.

Don't think so -- in order to get that building momentum, they're going to have to string wins together. If they lose tomorrow, they're just treading water again. I don't think the team will find the will/confidence to make a run at a 5-game streak directly after that. So, maybe they'll be alive from a mathematical standpoint, but not from a psychological standpoint. They lose tomorrow, the dream is over and the Giants will skate to the easiest division title in years.
So tomorrow is kind of important.
Dang they're playing in DC twice.
