i always feel like pop lights the victory cigar a bit too early, and by victory cigar, i mean dejuan blair! he basically chalked it up as a W with like 8 minutes to go! now the lead is down to 19! COME ON POP!

If I am not mistaken we just handed the Lakers their two worst losses of the season.

I am actually glad now that the Lakers pimp slapped us all over San Antonio that night......since that game, we have been absolutely dominant. I mean the team has their foot on the throats of their opponents night in and night out.....none of those games from past seasons where they get huge leads and choke them away to either lose or barely squeak by. Nope, since that Lakers debacle, UNSTOPPABLE!!!

yup, hopefully we can win out! it would be awesome to continue the streak of 50 win seasons despite the lockout! if we win out i think we will get the 1 seed overall, i dont know that the bulls can win all their games the way they have been playing recently

The Spurs just clowned us for the 2nd time in a row. Great showing by them and obviously a bad one for the Lakers.

i think tonight showed a bit of what pop might do with the rotation come playoff time. definitely start with parker, duncan, leonard and green. then go with diaw, splitter or bonner depending on who we are playing. manu was the first guy off the bench, S jax and neal came in as backup wing players with neal and ginobili being the primary backup PGs. so looks like patty mills, dejuan blair and james anderson will be used as victory cigars for the most part.

cant wait for the playoffs!! hopefully someone eliminates the lakers, grizzle and celtics for us!

Are you seriously afraid of the Lakers?

Yes we may have the advantage inside, but you guys have a HUGE advantage in 3 key areas. Point guard, the bench, and coaching. Hate to say it because I ****ing hate the Spurs, but they're the favorite in the West and shouldn't fear or try to avoid anyone.

i dont know that scared is the correct word, but it would be in the best interest of us winning the title if we could avoid the mavs, lakers and grizzlies. the lakers have a huge strength in one of our biggest weaknesses! the grizzlies im not as worried about, we schooled them 4 times this year, gay will play so they wont just pound us the whole time, plus duncan can handle gasol so long as he stays healthy, splitter played against him in spain so he can also defend him, and i think diaw can at least slow Zbo down a bit. the mavs just hate us with all their jealous little hearts, so they always play extra hard vs us, so id rather avoid them and play the suns of jazz instead.

If we cant beat the jazz or suns, the clippers and the thunder, we dont deserve to win the conference, specially having home court vs all of them.

Spurs looked great last night. Might come down to them and the Thunder for the West.

scared is the correct word.....this was a regular season game and Kobe just came back.....if the Spurs get the 1 seed, and the Lakers stay in the 3.....that means the two teams would have to meet in the WCF.

If that happens, but then, the Lakers will have most likely worked out the kinks......and with their Championship pedigree, they are very scary. The only other team I fear is the Heat....but that is because they will get pretty much all the calls, like they did on 06 against the Mavs.

Stop bashing Brown already. He is one helluva coach and a Pop disciple. He went into the toughest coaching gig in the league and has them currently in the 3rd seed in the West.....lockout, no real training camp, shortened season, so many games in so few nights, Kobe injured before and all throughout the season, Bynum acting like a toddler stuck in a grown man's body, the Pau Gasol trade drama, trading Fisher for Sessions, replacing Phil Jackson, the failed trade with New Orleans, the Lamar Odom trade, the Dwight Howard trade drama, and the rise of the Clippers.

This man has been through so much in less than a year, yet you Laker fans are constantly calling for his head. Give the man a flippin chance already. I mean he lead LeChoke and a pile of fecal matter to the NBA Finals.

I will continue bashing him until he shows he's a competent head coach. The guy is a moron plain and simple. Playing Blake at the 2? He's a solid backup 1, but at the 2 he got killed by Ginobli. He should play Ebanks at the 2 which would've been a much better matchup. He also needs to give Hill more burn. In his garbage minutes he's giving us more than McRoberts and Murphy combined. For the all the talk about him being a great defensive coach the Lakers defense has been horrible since the All Star break. The Lakers have up 121 points and 112 to the Spurs in the last two meetings. That is just flat out unacceptable and it comes back to the coach. He didn't lead the Cavs anywhere as much as I hate to say it LeBron did. He single handily took that horrible Cavs team to the Finals where they obviously ran into a much superior team. You saw the huge difference between Pop and Brown. Adjustments. After the 1st meeting when the Spurs were killed on the glass Pop inserted Splitter and it obviously helped out big time. Brown made no adjustments after the beat down at home. It's clear the players don't respect him and rightfully so. As much as I love my team I have a hard time seeing us beating you guys or OKC with such awful coaching. We have the talent to compete, but I don't believe for a second Mike is a championship caliber head coach.
