Good to see QB1 and WR1 putting in the work

Besides Brady and Warner there have been FIVE quarterbacks who have won SB’s drafted in the 4th round or higher:

• Bart Starr - Round 17

• Rodger Staubach - Round 10… certainly would have been 1st overall if not for military commitment.

• Joe Theismann - Round 4

• Mark Rypien - Round 6

• Brad Johnson - Round 9

That’s it. Not several. Warner is the only FA to win one and he’s a HOFer and league MVP.

I said there’s been a number of QBs that won a championship that weren’t drafted in the first round and that’s a fact! The list is a long one and anyone who thinks you have to have a QB drafted with a high pick to win a Super Bowl is wrong! There’s been 25 QBs drafted number one overall but only 8 of them won a Super Bowl.

Since you made it about a backup quarterback (Wentz) "sporting a ring", Trent Dilpher, Joe Theismann and Nick Foles are also sporting the rings that Dan Marino and Jim Kelly NEVER sported, yet Marino and Kelly are in the Hall of Fame. When are Dilpher, Theismann and Foles going to be inducted?? They have rings, so surely they are HOFers according to your flawed and weak logic, correct???


2. Aaron Rodgers, Matthew Stafford and Flacco all have the same amount of Superbowl rings.... does that mean they're all equally talented and are first ballot HOFers?? Rodgers will be, but what about the other two according to your flawed and weak logic???
