Anyone who doesn't think a player has the skills to make the team, doesn't want that player playing for their team... at least that's how most logical fans think, I hope.

So, to me, you'd look a lot smarter just saying you don't want him on our team.

I hope Amendola can prove himself as a quality NFL WR but it is a bit early to be proclaiming him the next great WR or to put him in the class of a Terry Glenn (in his prime). Amendola is an UDFA rookie who I hope can make the team and contribute but lets don't get carried away just yet.

He very well could get a roster spot and I hope he does but it is a bit early in the going. Like you I watched him at TT and he is was a good player playing in a run and shoot type offense and now we need to see if he can produce in a more traditional pro style offense. I'm sure he will be given opportunities to prove himself

atleast wait till after the first preseason game to talk about the kid, another problem i thought about though is who is going to throw the ball to these guys, honestly with our backup QB's its going to be hard to learn anything about our young WR's.
