Goodbye, Terry Glenn. Hello, Amendola.

Anyone who doesn't think a player has the skills to make the team, doesn't want that player playing for their team... at least that's how most logical fans think, I hope.

So, to me, you'd look a lot smarter just saying you don't want him on our team.
He'll look a lot more honest also.

Honest? What a joke.

Or it's the fact that I accept that I don't know everything ( a concept none of you seem to be able to grasp) and I hope I am wrong about him not making the team.

This isn't hard stuff, I can diagram it for if you need me to.

None of us can grasp that you are wrong?

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I hope you get my meaning, it seems this group is more interested in who is right and who is wrong and dealing in absolutes than anything else.

It's getting to be pretty pathetic.

Of course I do. Just wanted to joke with ya.

I hope Amendola can prove himself as a quality NFL WR but it is a bit early to be proclaiming him the next great WR or to put him in the class of a Terry Glenn (in his prime). Amendola is an UDFA rookie who I hope can make the team and contribute but lets don't get carried away just yet.

My thoughts exactly. Great story if he does, but the cart is in front of the horse.

I'm just joking as well. But I do want to pat you on the back for actually reaching 75 posts. You've been a busy boy making up for "lost" posts...

Dooms, the relation with Glenn and Amendola has to do with roster spot... not that he [Amendola] is the second coming of she....

Just to clarify my position on the matter.

He very well could get a roster spot and I hope he does but it is a bit early in the going. Like you I watched him at TT and he is was a good player playing in a run and shoot type offense and now we need to see if he can produce in a more traditional pro style offense. I'm sure he will be given opportunities to prove himself

So, the kid has "moxie."

So that is what this post/thread is about.

I don't recall any rookie (save Martellus Bennett) not having moxie.
He's just another couldhavebeen. Another Rudy. Not ready for prime time.

Get over it. If he makes the team fine, but don't build him up to be another Irvin after a week and a half of camp.

Indeed, this board is for all cowboy fans. It takes all types....

I haven't seen a whole lot from Austin.

You have seen even less from Amendola and you have him pegged as "great" already.

Don't you see how strange that sounds?

You don't comprehend well, do you?

Using Flash as a symbol for Amendola is like using Einstein as a symbol for Quincy....

:laugh2:

atleast wait till after the first preseason game to talk about the kid, another problem i thought about though is who is going to throw the ball to these guys, honestly with our backup QB's its going to be hard to learn anything about our young WR's.
