Goodell "Thinks" The DeflateGate Investigation Is Nearing the End

Amen.

Funny thing is that whenever I ask for actual, you know, evidence that the Patriots are guilty, no one ever responds. They know they have none. All they have is a single Mort Report which has been contradicted by many other reporters and a statistical analysis that has been completely invalidated by real life statisticians.

They also have their burning jealousy, which I am sure keeps them warm at night.

And you think you have "EVIDENCE?"

Dude, you are no different than the rest of us, just following the story and making a judgment on all the info that is thrown out there.

And so far, the most reasonable way to view things is looking at it all, and one with ZERO AGENDA (not you) will recognize that we had the initial report about 12 deflated footballs which was the closest report to the actual event and then look at everything that has transpired following that, and its SO OBVIOUS that the league is doing all they can to muddy the waters and cloud the issue so it can eventually and essentially be swept under the rug so that Mr Krafty is happy and satisfied. Any other explanation for this scenario is completely laughable and grasping for straws to support an agenda. PERIOD!

Your problem is I do have evidence.

I have a public statement by Ryan Grigson that he informed the league office of his suspicions prior to the AFCCG.

I have a public statement by Roger Goodell that he did not hear of any allegations prior to the game.

I highly doubt either of those individuals are lying because these statements were made during the ongoing investigation. If they were lying, it would come out in the Wells Report.

So that raises 2 completely valid questions: (1) who did Grigson talk to at the NFL Office and (2) what did that person do with the allegations? People in the know (like myself) are aware of the fact that the Wells Report is looking into those 2 questions. This past week, Goodell confimed I was right.

Exactly. And as anyone with half a brain or at least someone with ZERO AGENDA (not you) knows, it is the initial reports which tend to be the least accurate ones. Everyone is rushing to get the story out there, facts be damned. Then later on when reporters do some real work, more accurate facts emerge.

All you have, which you desperately cling to, is the hope that Mort's Report is true, even though it was contradicted many many times by several different outlets (including his own) since.

I invite you to stop living in such a sad state of denial and join us all here in the real world.

Like I said, you know they didn't do anything so you're already getting your preemptive excuse making out there.

Just more of the same ridiculous "they're guilty until proven innocent and even then they're still guilty!" logic from those obscenely jealous of a successful team.

No because as any 2nd grader knows, that's not how it works. In science (as well as other aspect of life) what happens is some, but not all, facts are gathered. People take what is known and create theories regarding the unknown. Later, as more facts are revealed, those theories can be proven correct, proven incorrect, or remain theories.
I will answer any question that is politely asked. Too bad so many in here are not capable of showing simple manners to people with whom they disagree. And too bad so many so-called Cowboys fans have lost their minds in jealously of a successful team over this whole thing.

An example of self-deception: OCD over a footballs that might be deflated 2 psi during a rout that would have happened any way while giving the blind in both eyes treatment to players you want to sign with a proven history of domestic violence. Could mention violation by other teams, but a few members should stop pretending to pontificate on alleged cheating - all that matters is there are teams they despise and teams they will let pass on anything no matter what.

Go ahead and rant on - not that you would need my encouragement.[/

Those guys are some real tools! Unbiased "Cowboy Fans" modeling for the rest of us what "true Cowboy Fans" are like. :lmao2:

According to Florio:

"As one league source recently explained it to PFT, the league’s investigation has expanded to explore its own behavior, including for example the identity of person(s) who leaked to the media information that suggested the Patriots did something wrong."

Looks to me like the league office is even more under the microscope than I originally thought. And whoever leaked that false report is probably in a bit of trouble.

It looks like Krafty has even more control over Goodell and this entire situation than any of us originally thought.

Yeah. Sure. Kraft controls everyone. Even independent investigator, Ted Wells. They're alllllllllllllllllllllllll in on it.

Sounds like you've come around to finally realize the Patriots did nothing wrong, and now you're just working on your preemptive excuse making. Good luck with that..!!

Was this just a repost from last month, or the month before?

Even the people jealous of NE's success are starting to come around to the notion that they did absolutely nothing wrong. You can see the desperation in their own words. Basically they need to believe that this is all one huge league wide conspiracy - one that even Ted Wells is in on. :muttley:

or we realize this is just going to be swept under a rug with a slap on the wrist.

play some crowd noise over some speakers...dock you a draft pick.

deflate your footballs below regulated pressure...it was mother nature, move along now.

An independent investigator has been looking into this issue for 13 weeks now, and will be releasing a report which will probably be in the range of 150 pages.

How in the world does that qualify as being "swept under the rug"? I know you won't answer my question, but what exactly should the league do to make you consider it not "swept under the rug"?

swept under the rug = finding some petty excuse to blame it all on.

Cant say the patriots did it. Cant say the league did it. Cant say that officials did it. So, we're gonna have 150 pages to tell us how the balls were left unattended for 30 minutes one night and a hot dog cart operator snuck in there and did the deed but that we have no idea which hot dog cart operator did it because the only reason we know is there was a ketchup and mustard smear on 5 of the 12 balls.

Uh, becuz this is something that could have been taken care of in the 24 hrs following the game. 13 weeks and 150 pages are only necessary if a smokescreen is needed in an attempt to distract while the corner of the rug is lifted and the broom sweeps it under the rug.
