Gotta love this: Dak to visit Grandmother during bye week

Well sometimes opportunity for success can happen twice maybe even 3 times.

Time spent with your love ones who you may or may not see ever again is priceless.

I think just as important is getting away from the pressure of the game, even for a few days. These guys have been at it since training camp in July they now get a chance to get away and recharge themselves.

Its fairly obvious whats more important to Dak, and more power to him.

If visiting his grandma makes him happy, then he should do that. If being with family on his days off makes him happy instead of trying to find some endorsement deals, then he should do that.

He looks like a really smart guy, so even though he's not making "a lot" of money in NFL standards yet, over 600k every year is a lot more money than most of us make and thats more than enough to live a happy stress free life financially speaking.

Of course this doesn't mean if he does endorsements that he's chasing money or whatever, but whatever makes him happy.

This is really shows that he's got a good head on his shoulders. And makes me that much more excited about him being our future qb.

While I admire Dak for keeping his eye on the ball, I think he's making a mistake not doing any endorsement or licensing deals, especially during the bye week.

You never know what your future holds and what situations or circumstances may arise or change in the near and distant future. It would be different if he were a first round pick money wise, but as a fourth round pick, he should be using those deals to provide a cushion in case things don't go as planned for some reason.

Or maybe he feels that he can get more lucrative offers if he holds out a bit more. Or maybe he just loves his grandma. I took a $25k a year paycut last year to work closer to my elderly father. Money isn't everything.

Not during the season I don't. I know that as a fan, it's important for me to stay as focused as possible to help the team win. As a player, Prescott should just use Facetime or something like he did with Deion recently.

Not sure of the intent of the "sorry Tony." You don't have to abandon Romo just because you like Prescott.

We're very fortunate to have two QBs who also seem to be good people with their heads screwed on right.
