While I admire Dak for keeping his eye on the ball, I think he's making a mistake not doing any endorsement or licensing deals, especially during the bye week.

You never know what your future holds and what situations or circumstances may arise or change in the near and distant future. It would be different if he were a first round pick money wise, but as a fourth round pick, he should be using those deals to provide a cushion in case things don't go as planned for some reason.

Probably so but I still can't help but respect the fact that he's so devoted to his career. I'm sure you admire that fact as well. I think he's in for an outstanding future, in any case, though. The money will come in time, more than likely. In the meantime, he's bolstering the odds that it will.

Dak really is on his Russell Wilson thing lol. Russell people were always putting out his good deeds trying to make him sound so perfect. I'm not mad at it though, keep ballin and stay smart Dak

Zeke doesn't. For those who didn't hear the news, he was at the SPCA of Texas yesterday helping them with their pet adoption program.

Gotta love that too.
This kid is really growing on me, sorry McFadden. Lol

It's safe to say that people have likely reached the point that they feel like Foghorn Leghorn after constantly reading this nonsense repeated incessantly.

Say, what, Willis?
You sure are sensitive.

They were on a bye week....if it's good enough for Ross it's good enough for Tony.
Half the team is going to clubs partying all night for the week. Others or flying to places further away (Cabo is a 2hr flight from Dallas), but he goes for 3 days with Witten, and their girlfriends to Cabo--chilling out on the coast and fishing for marlin--and he becomes the bad guy. Yet people talk about it nearly 10 years later...probably one of the least partiers that's been around the Cowboys in years...and ride him to know end for what? Getting on a plane for two hours and hangin with friends on the coast for a few days. On week when they were told to stay away from Valley Ranch so they could relax before the practice week before the game.
Unreal.

He was found not guilty of it. And didn't blow over the limit at the police station that night

But he apologized and admitted his mistake, so he must have been very close....

By the way, I really like Dak and he seems to have it all together, but he is not a saint because he goes to visit his grandmother!

I see two most likely scenarios with that situation. One, police did him a solid because of who he is (see Bama players). Two, he wasn't drinking, he was high (very difficult to test for that). Really hope it wasn't the latter. We don't need another pothead on this team. Especially at QB.

Whoops, thanks to the Mod for merging, I didn't scroll back far enough to see this other thread before starting mine.

He's already losing focus. Disappointing. He should be at the Star throwing a football through a tire during the bye week.

Next we'll find out he has some kinda HOBBY or something. Or he thinks he can have an active & vibrant social life or something crazy like that!
