Also need to watch the tape and start running more and better "rubs" or "picks." If the return on the occasional penalty is big yards and scores then we should run them more.

romo and dez will be back at earliest time. because a. were gonna need them, and 2. you'd have to kill them for them to say no.

Bryant wont matter if Weeden is our QB. We have to make that change.

Eh, well, Weeden found ways to get Gordon the ball while he was in Cleveland. My problem is that he'll key in on Bryant every damn play like he did in Arizona last year. Bryant would put Williams back in the role he specializes in and open up those underneath routes.

I worry more about the RB position right now. You can't do anything with this trash heap of a RB group. Even with Cassel, one of these RBs needs to step up.

I feel like the brutal part of our schedule is finally over. I feel more comfortable going up against the Giants and Eagles than I did with Falcons, Saints, and Patriots.

The next two games are winnable, especially if we get Bryant back and Cassel at QB. Need a Giants loss tonight though.

We stay with Weeden we wont beat the Giants or the Eagles. We have ZERO offense at this point, ZERO, thus the 3 losses in a row. Weeden has not been terrible, but this team desperately needs a spark. Weeden provides no threat with down the field passing so teams can just load the box and stop our meager run game. Cassell while not great has played a hell of a lot more games and has experience to stretch the field...HOPEFULLY. We need to win at least 2 games, 3 would be ideal just to have any shot at making a late Nov into the Dec stretch run interesting.

I highly doubt Dez returns after the bye.

I tend to agree and even if he does come back will he be DEZ. Bad injury for a bull in the china closet receiver to have...Im not convinced that we will see the Dez that we all know and love.

Let's be clear...the guy has led 2 different teams to the playoffs, has been voted to the probowl, and has a lifetime QB rating of 80.

Is this not better than Brandon Weeden?

This should be the last we use Weeden, ever. He has nothing to give us.

Not really. He has one playoff start where he was 9/18 for 70 yards. He has one playoff start. Where did you get 2?

If they keep calling plays for athletes to make plays in space, when they dont have the athletes, not even a little.

We need to put some good money into a backup QB next year. Imagine Josh McCown starting for this team.

I agree with everyone else. We have to change QB's because I can't see the team having faith in Weeden. The offense is completely ineffective with him in there. If Cassell is also that bad we have much bigger problems but we have to take the chance

Lets be clear, Buffalo was ready to cut this guy for a QB who stunk it up today and another that couldnt hit water from a boat.

where would Weeden stand in that depth chart? He probably wouldn't......
