Dak's the QB of this team and it's going to stay that way unless something fairly dramatic happens.
And Romo's a very good player and has been pretty much his entire career. Anybody who watched the Romo teams and concludes they came up short because of QB play generally simply doesn't know what they're talking about as far as I"m concerned.
That said, we don't have a defensive roster capable of competing at the highest level now, either. If we exceed expectations somehow, it'll be because we're playing better defense than we have any right to expect in the long run. Last week was hopeful, but I'm not holding my breath we'll be able to do it 3-4 games in a row in crunch time.
