I don't want to hear that nonsense, he had a great team in 2007 and 2014 and still came up small
You're blind then. Even Romo told his friends and family that this was the best team he's ever been around, right before he got injured.

But I know that doesn't fit your agenda.

We can just agree to disagree. I'm not getting into this with you when it's obvious you just don't like Romo.

No I am sick of people like you and all the Romo lovers acting like he is Joe Montana when failed numerous times

2008-started every game and we missed the playoffs
2011-started every game and we missed the playoffs
2012-started every game and we missed the playoffs
2013-started 15 games and we missed the playoffs

Then block me so you don't have to see me post my opinion if you can't handle someone having a different view than you do.

I just don't get people who get "sick" of people having an opinion that is different than their own. Weak.

If you can't tell that Romo never had a team around him like we have now, then there really is no point discussing anything with you.

He had a full offense in 2014. Went 12-4. Offense averaged 29.2 ppg, and defense 22 ppg, This offense averages 26 ppg and defense 18 ppg.

Dak's the QB of this team and it's going to stay that way unless something fairly dramatic happens.

And Romo's a very good player and has been pretty much his entire career. Anybody who watched the Romo teams and concludes they came up short because of QB play generally simply doesn't know what they're talking about as far as I"m concerned.

That said, we don't have a defensive roster capable of competing at the highest level now, either. If we exceed expectations somehow, it'll be because we're playing better defense than we have any right to expect in the long run. Last week was hopeful, but I'm not holding my breath we'll be able to do it 3-4 games in a row in crunch time.

Just curious if that includes the last two games where Dak and the offense struggled.

I expect you to disappear if Dak has a good game tomorrow

You dks. Why the heck would I do that? I've supported him all season. I think he's a talented kid and will only get better and am glad he is our future. I'll support any player who wears the star. In fact when Romo was healthy I felt like we should stick with Dak because he was the hot hand and I didn't want to mess with the chemistry.

But he's hasn't played well the last few games and is showing signs of rookie struggles. And this is the worst time to go through the growing pains. If he lays another egg tomorrow then we need to put Romo in and try to get things back on track for this playoff run.

You know what. Just forget it. I'm tired of explaining this over and over to people who can't comprehend that I am a fan of the Cowboys and just want the best player to be under center.

Then I wonder what the excuse will be if Romo comes in and fails again for the 10th time.

I know it's crazy to think, but you can talk.about Dak's play without bringing up Romo or Wentz. Novel concept, I know.

As mentioned early, article didn't mention anything that hadn't been discussed here. Cosell reiterated that everything going on with Dak is rookie-related with some props for the Giants defense. But it wasn't groundbreaking to anyone reading CZ all week.

You do know who blew it in 14 right? Or did you not watch the playoff game? Did you not see Murray fumble with no one in front of him? Did you watch Dez drop a clutch 4th down throw? Did you see the cowboys inept pass rush fail to get pressure on a 1 legged Aaron Rodgers?

So when the team lose and Romo is the QB it;s everyone else. When the team lose and Dak is the QB it;s him

I don't know WG, the reason we keep going around in circles on the Dak/Tony thing is because -- at least to me -- there is a mystery here, a missing ingredient that would allow us to tie the whole thing together and make sense of it. I know in my job when I'm racking my brain trying to solve a problem and banging my head against the wall, generally it turns out I'm assuming something is true that in fact is not. That's probably the case here.

The good news is all we have to do is beat the Bucs tomorrow night and this all becomes academic and goes on the back-burner for a while, especially if the Giants lose.

Romo has def had some bad games in his career. 2014 was definitely not one of them. In what way in hell did Romo do to make the cowboys lose in 14?
