Greg Ellis Expendable?

He's an incredible bright spot this year so far, despite my haranguing of him this entire off season for his whining. I was wrong. He's playing great.

I wouldn't say you were wrong for haranguing (what ever that means) him for his whining. He deserved that. He is playing great though.:)

More and more really stupid threads are appearing on this board.

I dont see why it is stupid to suggest the possibility of trading a guy that probably wont be around much longer to yet younger, more athletic guys get on the field that have the ability to produce?

I dont get why some ppl on here find the need to put down others opinions so quickly and often...

you still havent answered...how is an opinion stupid? b/c cyber thug heavyhitta says so? this has never been said before based on my reasons...why is it stupid?

Its a stupid argument- we would not be able to get anything that is worth the production we would lose.

Because all logic and reason go against it. Who or what could we get for Ellis that would be worth trading him for? Nothing

Right now Ellis is producing at a rate that only a high 2nd rd choice MIGHT be worth- and there is NO way we would get that high a choice. And if you are talking trade, then show me someone that we could get that would be worth it. If you cannot- then you have shown your football ignorance.

well what about the logic and reason for it...

We could get probably a 3rd, get carp on the field, and burnett played better than elliss yesterday from what i heard

we wouldnt have to worry about him being released after this year...etc

I have been really impressed with Ellis thus far. His leadership, experience, and pass rushing skills will be extremely valuable this season but most importantly in the playoffs and our push for a 6th World Championship.

We better stick with Ellis and keep our backups in place. Besides, Carpenter makes a great inactive roster spot.

A 3rd rounder for a very good NFL pass rusher....

I think I'll pass :lmao2:

Brilliant- trade away someone for a future pick that is not all that great and put someone that HE BEAT OUT in his place. Really sharp. I think this guy is a skins fan.
