This. Although he's had ample opportunities to play/participate. Would love to see him beat the odds and play out the rest of his potential. He could be an outstanding player and an example for others of fighting off the demons to turn his life around.Gregory absolutely had a chance to play.............he chose not to.
With that said, I'm not against him coming back. He can play.
RGregory doesn't have a problem with weed....... he has a problem with the NFL rules
He has obviously chosen marijuana as part of his daily maintenance routine
I have a problem with the NFL rules, too!
A lot of folks do. A lot of players do. The people playing the game.
This will be changed, eventually, but by then RG's career window will have long since passed.
Tragedy. Over a plant.

Being a hug Nebraska fan, I watched every game that he played in and always witnessed a man among boys. The dude can ball. He will significantly upgrade the d-line. Yet, I continue to read people's comments about him being a JAG, washed up and a has been. If the dude smacked his girlfriend around, I'd jump in with my JAG comment. If the dude disciplined his child by whipping him with a switch, I'd be the first to sign the 'Get the F out of the NFL' petition. If the dude stole underwear and cologne from the neighborhood JC Penny, I'd have fun photo-shopping his mugshot. The dude smoked weed. Weed. Most of you haters would be hitting the J with him if you were hanging out. So get off the dude's back. I, for one, can't wait to watch him play again and will be happy to resume being a Randy Gregory fan. Weed rant over!!!
Because the plant isn't regulated and monitized by pharma and the guvment,... yet. The NFL (and society) is fine with you being addicted/abusing certain plants or chemicals,as long as they are on the correct list and the overloards can make enough $$$ from it.

Mods, feel free to delete this if I got overly political.

The other thread says that T Crawford is dominant and led the NFL in pressures.Yes. A RDE. DLaw is a LDE. Tapper is hit and miss (due to injuries).
Gregory is a potential phenom RDE
That's very unDude, 74Beat me to it...
Right, Loc!?The other thread says that T Crawford is dominant and led the NFL in pressures.
I get it. We already wasted (so far) a draft pick on him. It would be a complete mental/physical overhaul for him to be productive but he does have the physical foundation to play. Few (in his case) have ever accomplished that kind of turn around. I'm not holding my breath at this stage of his "career" so far.Maybe but then he was not doing anything when he was playing, as a young player he was developing but all that development goes out the window and he would be starting from square 1 given all the time he has missed. Like any player entering the league he needs to be at practice, at OTA and on the field. He has lost a lot of time for a guy who was still far from being a productive player
According to some posters we already have one of most dominant lines in the NFL so we don't need any helpRight, Loc!?
