Lawrence had more sacks last night than Gregory has had his entire "career".
Dlaw has more sacks than his entire career so far
Can't sack the qb if your not on the field which up to now has also applied to Dlaw
As for Randy, nothing lost by bringing into camp next year and see what happens. Either he straighten out his life or he works at mcdonalds
It's totally up to him but I wouldn't bet on him or plan on him being a contributor

Is he being tested regularly still? Since he has to "apply for reinstatement" does that mean he is not part of the NFL and ergo, not being tested?
He is still being tested......up to 10 times a month on demand.......

Some have said that he has made it clean since November..... others say he failed/missed a test this summer........ but he basically has to be clean for the rest of his life to ever play another down and that is a long shot

Don't fix my posts.

Make your own.

You're scared of the oogie boogie weed. I'm not.
Go run and hide.

Free that man. Unleash the beast. He's hurt no one.

He's hurt his team Trouty and, by proxy, he's hurt himself, his career and his earning potential. Professional football is too tough a game to think a guy can come in after sitting out a year without training camp or practicing and play at an acceptable level.

He could get in shape by the end of next season if he's reinstated by mid-Nov, conservatively.

Gregory = pot smoking, beast-man to play LDE

um, yeah, come on down....if we can have all of the OTHER headaches with this team, might as well add this minor inconvenience to the squad...pretty soon, pot will be an "ok" thing in the minds of the NFL...it's legal in many states

My approach would be cut this loser. He brings nothing to your football team but a distraction. He needs to be as far away from this team as possible.
That's a little rough, if it was helping him with his health issues, which were rumored. Maybe they have found an alternative that helps him already. If he keeps passing tests, why would you cut him now?

Gregory is physically talented. He is not mentally talented, first red flag is to fail a drug test you know about, the combine. 2nd Red flag knowing you are now in the protocol and failing a 2nd test, 3rd red flag failing a 3rd test. I am sorry but this dude is long shot. If you cant pass drug test you know about and then fail random drug tests that you know could happen weekly I have little faith he can pass up to 120 random drug tests in a year. Yeah its weed, rules are rules and until they are changed you have to follow them. My job has strict drug policy should I disregard if I think its dumb.

As a successful adult I am an avid smoker. I smoke for an injury to my back. I won't take the pills.

Or until the policy is changed, I expect it to be a topic of conversation here. Now I don't know if they need to collectively bargain that, or if the owners can vote on it , or RG can change the rules. I don't know that process, but I'm betting weed is going to be a major topic. It started last year with heavy conversation and Jerry was pretty vocal about it. For Randy's and many other players who opt to smoke instead of opiates, I hope the NFL makes some needed changes to that policy.
