I have said it before, but beer is the official drug of the NFL , and beer companies dont want to compete with weed, so since
beer is one of the big nfl sponsors, they have a influence on this policy.

I think the influence is small at this point. Not punishing a player for smoking weed isn't exactly an endorsement. And my guess is that when weed becomes fully legal it will likely be due to large corporations seeing the profitability of marijuana and encouraging the government to fully legalize it when the time is right. The only issue is that people can grow weed themselves.

I am really surprised states are now legalizing pot, but the main reason is for the tax revenue, not because it is the right thing.

And even in those states you could still be busted for pot, selling and possession, by a federal agent and tried in a federal court.

I personally don't think the National Institute of Health, which the National Institute of Drug Abuse is part of, has bias. I also don't think their findings would be published in the New England Journal of Medicine if they had bias.

The rat study was from 2007, but the Journal study was from 2014. I'll leave it at that. It's been a friendly discussion.

Nonetheless I just showed you where a potential study was presented two different ways and was only accepted when it was written as looking for negative effects of pot as opposed to the denied identical study presented as looking for medicinal properties.
