Is it official that he will get the 10 game suspension? Is there a possibility that he may only serve a 4 game after he gets out of rehad?
Very well said.I'm wit cha. I was really looking forward to seeing what he could do on the field this year. I was willing to give him a chance after the Cowboys drafted him - though I really wish they would stay away from these projects. But when they become Cowboys, they get a little more sympathy from me.
And I think fans forget that before he got hurt in the first game of the season against the Giants, he was actually pushing the Giants offensive lineman back towards the quarterback. Then the ankle injury occurs, and I believe, he never was the same even when he came back.
It's really a bummer he could give up the pot. But I too am convinced it's not just "stupidity" as it is a deeper issue.
But I have decided just as with Ro McClain (whom I supported), I'm moving on from Randy Gregory. With all due respect to his issues, he just can't be trusted, and there's no sense in emotionally investing in players who have shown a propensity for not being available for whatever reason.
I think he will end up with 10 games and 2016 will be a complete wash. then we will go into the off-season, all wondering if we will do it again and be gone for all of 2017.
What difference does it make? This guy seems hopeless to stay clean. Is it official that he will get the 10 game suspension? Is there a possibility that he may only serve a 4 game after he gets out of rehad?
The dude will probably never play again. He's got a serious mental disorder.
He will play again, guys just got a real addiction.
No, it's not an addiction as much as it is a severe personality disorder that causes extreme anxiety. The only "drug" that works for him is marijuana.
In order for this defense to significantly improve, I think we're at least a year out and then some luck really has to come our way in the draft, health and free agency.
I think it depends on circumstances. But not for sure, just a little of what I know about it.
If one volunteers to go in, they can set a certain length of time. 30 days, 60, whatever. Also they may be able to leave when they want if they don't agree to a length of time, but probably is a minimum amount of time regardless, like 2 weeks as a huge guess.
If court or otherwise ordered. It can be 1 month, or even 6 months regardless of any progress.
I feel that somehow Gregory can be released around the time he is eligible to play.
Is that in the Middle East?
Yup. Sounds to me like rehab is a last ditch effort to shorten the suspention.
