I can't for the life of me figure out why Bell is the only player getting beneficial treatment on these suspensions. The only thing that comes to mind is he is a star player and that's a really bad look.
Have you ever noticed how the Steelers seem to benefit from the Refs more than any team?

The refs gave them a Super Bowl win against the Seahawks.

Jerry Jones on Randy Gregory ruling: 'We don't agree'

The Dallas Cowboys knew what was coming regarding Randy Gregory.

They knew, but they don't appreciate it one iota.

"We anticipated [the suspension of Randy Gregory]," said Jones, via 105.3FM the Fan on Friday morning. "We knew the circumstances.

"We don't agree with them but we do know the circumstances."

On Thursday, the NFL handed down a one-year ban on the second-year defensive end for what they deemed to be another violation of the league's substance abuse policy stemming from a drug test that was reportedly missed.

Some sources speculate the test was to be administered at a time when Gregory was actually in a rehabilitation facility, having entered after the previous failed screening that landing him a total suspension of 14 games.

"He's genuine in his rehab process," said Jones in his press conference on Friday afternoon. "I do have reason to be encouraged about his future.

"I hope and expect Randy Gregory to be back on the field."

Jones would not go into specifics only to note the case is still "active" and has a myriad of "possible outcomes". The comments bring to mind the Supreme Court battle between the NFL and New England Patriots QB Tom Brady over the league's verdict stemming from deflated footballs in the 2014-15 AFC Playoff game.

"His options are still to be possibly exercised," Jones noted.

"This is a highly sensitive time for comments."................
I keep expecting Jerry to get mad one of these days. I've expected it ever since the Cap penalty a few years ago but it has yet to happen to the point that we hear about it.

Jerry might need to get a real life Ray Donovan.

Jerry has to do something about this situation. I am really upset that Bell can get away with it, and nothing is being said around the league about Gregory other than he is gone for 1 year. Goodell has to be hung for this and this story needs to explode more. The fans have to be heard on why these two same incidences are handled differently.

Maybe the worst officiated game I've ever seen.

The AZ game wasn't much better with the block in the back right in the face of the official on the huge Harrison return on top of the questionable Santonio Holmes catch.

I think the league would disagree on them rushing. The missed test happened months ago but they could not acknowledge it or announce another suspension until his 14 game suspension was over. Since he appealing it, he got to play those two games until his appeal was heard. It probably would have been over and done with weeks ago but he was serving another suspension.

Wasn't he in the middle of serving a 4 game suspension when they announced his 10 games suspension? They didn't wait for his current suspension to be completed then...again, as stated by many, it's the inconsistencies that makes you question the integrity of the NFL front office.

A larger than life Cowboys fan needs to tweet this story. Anyone here know LeBron?

If you can't do the time don't do the crime. It really is that simple

Here's pics Le'Von Bell and Michael Floyd laughing at Randy Gregory.

BTW, I'd totally forgotten Bell had been ARRESTED both driving drunk and with weed.

The writer's closing paragraph perfectly sums up the favoritism the NFL has shown between Gregory & Bell

Gregory is being called a lost cause and a waste, whereas Bell is being praised as a potential MVP if not just for those missed test hiccups. In the end the handling of the two players by the NFL and NFLPA is appalling. This is in no way saying Gregory should have been off the hook, but the slap on the wrist for one player and the death sentence to another’s career makes no sense.
