Yeah, it was very interesting to see the coaches analyze the game against San Diego.

LB coach Herring said, "this guy's been a bum all of training camp". I really would like to know who he was talking about.
Probably Ware.

I agree completely with regards to John Garrett. He needs to pick his spots and make them meaningful.

If Bennett isn't hustling, get on his ***. If he's not tucking the ball away properly, get on his ***.

Hounding him about tucking in his t-shirt? Unless it is some sort of team wide or position wide rule then he's just being a prick.

i really enjoyed roy getting pissed at the broncos going out trying to hit and standing up for the offense.

i think he is back too.

I also love the respect that ray sherman demands on the field and you can even hear T.O reply to him "yes sir".

I think ray sherman would make a great assistant to garrett wen he takes over.

I'll tell you what the more I see roy the more i think greg ellis over reacted by telling the media he wasnt on the same page with the team.

His chemistry looks great to me with the guys and he looks to be in good shape and focused this year.

I hope to see great things from him

It has to be Ball.

Why would a LB coach be discussing a DB?

He is probably talking about Tyson Smith, who Marion Barber blew up.

My absolute favorite part was seeing some of the blocks that Bennett was throwing. He was holding his blocks for a long time too.

Roy trying to sneak into Terrell's room AGAIN and admiring his sunglasses. lol

Romo saying "I suck" "Okay, I officially suck".

Ware talking about his baby.

Wasn't Garrett's whole point about the t-shirt that it gives the defenders a target to tug on? Doesn't seem like that unreasonable of a request (unless it's not expected of any of the other tight ends).

I could be wrong, but I thought that conversation was good natured ribbing.

I'm wondering if TE coach Garrett needs to pick his battles a little better, he comes off a little petty at times.

I sort of agree. I think he's doing the right thing by staying on him and trying to get him to practice the right way. But I think he needs to give him more positive reinforcement and somehow get him to believe that if he works hard he has the talent to be the starter over Witten. While that may not be exactly true, I think one of the problems we have with Bennett is he probably knows he will never start and thus working hard isn't as important to him.

I love hard knocks but it pulls on my heartstrings when it comes to those players who really don't have a shot.

Just gotta root for em. Lattimore and Lowber want it but it just won't be enough.

This is the fastest 50 minutes of my week, where'd that hour go?

Roy Williams is funny, we need to see more of that side of his personality. All I've ever seen is post game interviews where he looks bitter & surly.

I like me some Ray Sherman

Martellus is shown in a more positive light and looks to have improved. Regardless of how he turns out as a football player, I think he's a funny guy with a great personality.

I Really like Tank Johnson and think he's a great leader and motivator in word and deed (pretty funny too).

I really like the way Greg Ellis corraled the defense and got them back on track.

It's going to be interesting to see where Lattimore winds up, I sure hate to pass on the Ray Lewis bloodline.
I don't know.
I don't find Roy's joking very genuine or natural.
It always comes across forced and put on, to me.

I still find M. Bennett to be a jerk.

Good points, I agree. Only thing is that John Garrett HAS to ride Martellus and not give any slack. Martellus does not have the ability right now to push himself and needs someone pushing him hard.....like a kid needs...of course, a big, rich kid.

Garrett was told at the start of training camp that the best way to teach Martellus was to "get his foot on his throat" and not let him get away with anything. That appeared on the first episode of Hard Knocks. Martellus does have the ability, but at this point, he needs stern discipline to learn good habits. If Tellus accepts the challenge, he is going to be a very good one.
I think screwing up in a game, in particular a loss, may be the kind of thing that would get Bennett going. He channelled Allen Iverson there: "it's practice" hehe

I do hope he knows to turn it on when it matters most to the team

"Hey, coach...the linemen say they want to use you for dwarf-tossing."

"Well, they could probably use both of us!"

Or Erik Walden, or Tearrius George. There is no dearth of candidates unfortunately.

My favorite was the bit w/the Bronco TEs and Romo discussing ... Ware?
