It worked for jerry rice. THat is the old jerry rice offseason workout regiment.

Actually the first player I remember seeing run hills for conditioning was Walter Peyton, It certainly worked out ok for him.

Whomever was running was stupid. Running up a hill with lose sand and rocks. Easy way to twist an ankle.

Or get snake bit. You do that stupid crap in Texas, during the summer and your asking for trouble.

The part I liked the best was Bartel just prior to and after the interception. Once Bartel saw what happened, he immediatly got on his horse and tried to make the play. He was clearly disappointed in himself for making that throw, even thou it really was not his fault. I like to see that in a player. I like to see players that care about what's going on and how they are playing. I thought that showed something about him. He might be worth keeping.

I know this is going to sound bad but I liked the fact that Flo ripped of that head gear and was ready to beat the life out of whomever was on the business end of that thing. That's bad, I know, but I do like to see a little bit of a mean streak from OLs. Especially Flo. Too many years, he just went through the motions during training camp. Looks to me as if he is dialed in this year and I have to believe that it will filter down through the rest of the OLs.

Not to me it doesn't.

I spent a couple of years stationed in Southern California (Pendleton and El Toro) and believe me those types of hills are full of rattle snakes. They also have a pretty large number of mountain lions. When I was stationed at Camp Pendleton I had to ride 4x trucks to the top of a 4 or 5 hundred foot tall hill where I worked, It wasn't unusual at all to hear or see mountain lions.

well, from the looks of that episode the Cowboys had reason to be ticked off about what was going on in those couple of days.

Sounds like it was to be a light contact practice and someone forgot to tell the Brocos players.

I am very familiar with that area and your right, it is filled with all sorts of critters that will jump up and bite you if your not careful.

29 Palms?

Campo in the hot tube and Wade tells Dave he would not beat it...hahaha

This episode made it appear as though there are actually some leaders on this team. Must be the magic of TV. ;)

The way both Jerry and the show itself handled King was classic.

By leaps and bounds the best episode so far.

Roy trying to hit someone in the denver practice. or Keon talking on the sideline during the game. "big bro gonna get me for that one." lol

The one where coach Sherman was having a very stern talk with the recievers on the field. At the end of his no-nonsense sermon, he says, something like 'you got me?' and everyone, including TO, said 'yes sir' in unison.

I really like this guy. I was actually impressed with all the assistant coaches on these HBO episodes. They appear to be very nurturing but at the same time don't tolerate slackers.

I have to say that I've been a Roy basher for like 2 years now, but he's such a likable guy, it's hard to hate him if he would just talk more, naturally that is.

I really am pushing for him to do good this year, because as I've said, he's very likable.

Felt bad for Ware & his wife when I heard his wife miscarried shortly before our playoff loss. Glad they finally have a baby. Agree that Ware will be a great dad; just like he's a class act on the field and off of it.

The Demarcus Ware bit really did touch my heart. He deserves to be great, and he works extremely hard at being just that. On and off the field the guy is pure class and that's why he's my favorite 'Boy.

In reality, we dodged a bullet with Austin guys. A grade three sprain is.....well obviously one step away from a tear and being out for the season. I think they'll err on the side of caution, get it ONE HUNDRED percent, and we'll see him in week three against the ***** packers. BTW: we'll be 2-o at that point because the Browns are racked with injuries and Philly is beat up too.

I can't believe no one mentioned, (maybe I missed it), the scene with Pac writing the letter to Goodell and then telling Jerry he wouldn't be here without him. Jerry seemed genuinely touched by that. That was very insightful. You realize why Jerry is able to get something out of these guys who have been in trouble elsewhere.

Agreed. The sky is falling for some, but just imagine what would of happened if Miles had a season-ending, or career threatening tear with multiple ligaments.

The universe would collapse on itself around here.
