Watched it last night.

Found it boring and not particularly memorable. I haven't watched the show since we were last on it and I really do not like how it has become so slick.

There was some good inside stuff -- Jerry talking to Hurd about Glenn being cut etc. But the rookie "hazing" junk was boring as hell. All in all a few interesting momement tucked inside of a bunch of glitz crap.

It was pretty entertaining. Bennett's attitude scared me.

I loved it and I think Pacman's comments were my favorite part. "Welcome to the Dallas Cowboys" after he soaked Felix. Apparently he isn't that fast after all. lol The other main behind the scenes stuff was cool. But dude tripping up the steps wasn't that funny until the camera man said "You o.k?" He was asking him if he was o.k but you know he was trying not to laugh.

Love it.

I don't think it was an accident that the Terry Glenn negotiations ended up on air. Jerry earned some street cred with that denial.

If you found all that good stuff boring, it makes me wonder what gets you excited. What would you have liked to see that wasn't shown?

what was up with the slug across the floor.

T.O. looks like he's in great shape and I can see him putting up 1500 yards and 17 TD's

The show was freaken awesome!!! Go to a friend's house that has HBO, they are gonna show it again several times.

Tank looked like a bull. Pacman on TO was awesome. Pacman caught 6 punts while holding onto all the balls at the same time. Crayton tried to duplicate the trick, it took him 2 tries but he got it done. I will say Crayton seems to have a different attitude from last year. I believe he will redeem himself this year. Deware and Adam Jones pulled a prank on Felix by Dware luring beneath Adam's apt, then Jones dumps a trash can full of water on him. Man I think just seeing the boys mixing it up after a long *** off season was just what the doctor ordered...:starspin

it was cool how they showed them catching the 6 punts at one time. Also that segment on pacman and T.O. was so funny.

Awesome show. A few thoughts -

1. Romo could be a great coach someday.
2. TO is a great teammate.
3. Wade is a downhome Texas good ol' boy.
4. You'd think Jerry Jones could afford a hat that fits him.
5. Campo is a good guy and a good coach.
6. Garrett will be a great head coach.
7. Pac is fitting in nicely.

1. I think Romo will go the ESPN Analyst/Personality route when he's done.

4. I thought the same thing about Jerry's "too snug" hat... did he steal that off of a 8 year old?

I could see the analyst thing too, but I think his love of the game will draw him into coaching. The way he was coaching up those boys seemed natural. And with his rise from undrafted D2 college to NFL star, he'll be able to reach all types of players.

Are you really asking a married man what gets him excited? :laugh2:

I'm just basing it mostly on the observation that "celebrity" level players rarely seem to go into coaching. It's usually the less visible, blue collar guys that do it.

I may be wrong, though, it's not like I've analyzed the situation closely. But I can't really recall a super-star player who's gone into coaching recently. But you can name dozens who've gone into broadcasting.

I would, but I am curious about what you were expecting from the show and maybe what would've happened on the show that you would've found exciting.

Nothing wrong with not really liking it. Just curious, cuz you're about the only dissenter right now. Almost bbgun-like. lol

Honestly, I felt the stories were a bit lame. Lattimore? What did we learn about him? That his brother is Ray Lewis and that they sometimes talk on the phone? The wacky, look at how close everyone is, stuff was boring to me. The "look at Jason Witten, he changes diapers bit"... who cares. He's off for like 6 months out of the year, damn right he should be helping around the house.

Much of the show seemed like some of those staged reality-TV shows -- this is what we want you to see of us. Hopefully this will get better but I didn't feel like I learned much new.

I don't know that fans like us (meaning us on all the various messageboards) would ever be able to learn much new, because it's posted here and elsewhere in minutes.

However, I do get what you're saying, because there was stuff shown that we already knew had occurred. Pac catching six balls, for example. And some of the sequencing kinda threw me off. But if you didn't follow the team closely, all of that would've been fascinating and brand new.

I thought it was a good introduction to the team. Very straightforward with a few chuckles along the way.

"What?!?! I only won $5 million in the lottery....booo...I WANTED $30 million!!! THIS SUCKS!!!!!!"

Yowza man. What did you want to learn? You do realize none of our players are secretly spies in the offseason or anything like that. I've never seen that side of Jason or his kids so was actually kinda cool I thought.
