Snipping to save space. IIRC there was plenty of discussions regarding Peterson. Especially when the pictures were leaked. The Vikings and Peterson weathered the storm.
Same will happen with Dallas and Hardy. Buckle up.
There were no ESPN roundtables, IIRC...no special ESPN OTL episodes, no Katie Nolan's being disgusted for reporters talking to Peterson.
The timeline is really the same outside of the pictures being leaked.
Before the season started, both Hardy and Peterson were involved with their respective crimes. Both played in week 1 and both of their respective teams decided (for whatever reason one cares to interpret) to sit them out for the rest of the season.
And now they are both back playing football.
Except, there's NOBODY saying that Adrian Peterson should not be playing in the NFL. And they press is not taking time to go after Peterson. It's as if they feel he has served his punishment and should be allowed to play, no questions asked. Yet Hardy has served MORE punishment than Peterson and they believe that he should serve even more punishment or just be banned from football all together.
Rampant hypocrisy.
Again, they don't care about Nicole Holder. They only care about the Cowboys signing a great player and the threat of him being re-signed about the Cowboys. If Hardy was playing for ANY other team...I have my doubts that any of this would be going on based on good evidence from the Peterson case.
