This, to me, seems plossible. I have no supporting evidence but I would suspect that if Henson came forward and demanded a trade, that would not sit will with Bill.

I didn't read the entire thread, because it looked really boring, so I apologize if this has been covered, but I would guess that the deal for Henson to some team for a conditional 2nd day pick is contingent on getting an extension for Romo (if one is agreed in principal) signed.

I say this because Parcells just flat out said Henson will not be on the roster, which is throwing his chips in, unless it is a friend involved and they already know they are going to do some favors for eachother.

Both BP and JJ are good friends with Al Davis.

WOW, a 4th - this is a day where sh-t keeps happening, how am I supposed to get anything done! Thats a great trade for us, depth is a good thing when you can do this!

Well, it doesn't sound like one is tied to the other. BP said that Henson will not be on our roster this year. That would seem to indicate that the decision would not be impacted by Romo's situation regardless. I think it's more likely a trade or like a previous poster mentioned, a negotiated release.
