Henson-Its time to go

Seriously, anytime one of these threads is started, there should be an immediate ban. I mean, these posts are such obvious flame starting threads, probably all initiated by the same individual/group of people.

P.S. Can there be anything more annoying that listening to someone speak about himself in the third person?

I agree and that is why I am not a mod :)

This Mroz kid is a straight Baller! He was a regular 'Captain Comeback' during his hayday at Yale lighting up the Ivy League like the 4th of July:

"Just give him the ball. Jeff Mroz will find a way to get the job done"

The more I read about this kid the more I see Drew Bledsoe Version 2.0 written all over him!

~The Answer

...you forgot to refer to yourself in the third person with this post. How can we take you seriously when your posts aren't consistent?

What does that have to do with the price of tea in china?

All I said was that he was playing well and that he was getting better than got hurt. What difference does the league make?

Progress is progress.

Henson was, and will be Romo's back up anyway. Carter and Dixon ended up being wasted 2nd rounders. Wonder what kind of QB we could of gotten if we would of used that third rounder on one coming out? You never know though at the time. I also wonder how good Henson would of been if he would of stayed with football. I'd definately get somebody for next year.

i'll join his board, Henson is a waste.
A mass exodus of two? The bus leaving is going to be a short one. Can you imagine those threads?

Day 1...

Guy 1: Why does Henson still have a roster spot? He's a waste.

Guy 2: I don't know bro.

Day 2...

Guy 1: Why does Henson still have a roster spot? He's a waste.

Guy 2: repost

lol...my only comment for Henson related stuff I have remaining inside of me. Once again...lol. One better...lolol. Captatalized duece...LOLOL On the ground...ROTFL

Absolutely no value to talk about this guy. Maybe in 3-4 years when he doesn't have a job, ala Quincy, maybe some of you will finally wake up. Drew Henson = Quincy Carter. And you want to make yourself believe he's better but, you'd only be lying to yourselves and I think most of you know that already, just too much homerism invested in the guy to turn back now. Hell, not to blame, I almost fell for all of Jerry's shiney bell and whistle sales pitch, too. The guys good, he'll be the one you first see in hell and he probably will get you to buy that cup of hot coffee. He sold so many of you Henson, anything's possible, lol.

It isn't Nors. Hope that answers the question, pardon the pun.

No, it isn't, but it does remind me of someone else who used to post here. Just trying a different routine, I think.

Why is everyone hugging up on Mroz's nuts now? He wasn't even going to have the starter job at Yale, that is why he took his hiatous into the "business world".

Drew Bledsoe 2.0?? The kid didn't even get drafted. :bang2: :banghead: :bang2: :banghead:

Same reason they were hugging Dustin Long's when he got invited to a mini camp. Flavor of the week that isn't Henson.

For some reason, the former Quincy lovers all see Henson as the reason he was jettisoned and will love anyone at QB not named Henson.

Never mind that QC didn't have the physical or mental abilities to succeed in the NFL and is now in Canada.

That will be fine by me. I will start my own board and disallow all Henson fans.

This guy is holding a roster spot that could be used on a legit backup. Something we don't have right now. Hell I'll take Flutie Flakes over this guy....

And I despise Flutie.

Hummmm...Ex girlfriend I take it, must be difficult.

That's the key right there.....Henson couldn't even beat the NFLE's best team and was swept by them. In fact I remember in one of the games he choked at the end of the game and turned the ball over. So how on earth is he going to be the NFC East's best?

A single player does not beat another team. A team beats another team. EVERY QB is only as good as the team around him.

I never said he'd be a starter in the NFL next year -- only that he showed he could play in NFLE and showed me enough to warrant staying on the developmental path.

Henson is not holding anything up. This will be his 3rd year in the NFL

I would really like to know what Romo has done to solidify his place on the roster other than playing Golf. This is a player that has NEVER thrown a NFL Game pass and he's our backup no question?

Henson isn't going anywhere until at least after training camp...If he can't beat out Romo for second string then we need to start looking elswhere...And I'm a Huge Henson fan.

Henson needs to beat out Romo this year or he's in trouble with the Cowboys...Imo.

neither did Romo and there's plenty of man love for him.

Disagree. The numbers on a backup QB are meaningless until the starter goes down. Neither saw the field at QB last year so no one knows who would have played if pressed into duty, short term or long term.

When McNabb went down last year, it was their quote unquote number three QB who saw the field.

Being listed as a number two QB may just make that player a better holder for placekicks.

what do long-term project mean?

In my book in means the team expects it to take a bit longer than what would be expected from a kid coming right out of college who was drafted high in the draft. It also explains why Dallas gave him an 8 year deal. I think the team made mistakes with Hutchinson and Carter by rushing them into the lineup when both guys were far from ready and I don't think they want to repeat the same mistake with Henson.
