1. We have more invested in him at this time i.e. 3rd rd draft pick more $.
Jerry is a businessman and undoubtedly understands sunk cost. What's invested in Henson should be irrelevant to whether he or Romo would stay. Simply put, the team should keep the player that is or at least can be the most productive QB for the Dallas Cowboys.

2. I think there is more upside to Henson i.e., more athletically gifted, stronger arm etc. I do not see Romo as anything more than a career backup.
I don't see how anyone can make a judgement on either QB as far as the NFL. We simply haven't seen enough to make a judgement. I had high hopes for Henson, but now I'm just not so sure.
The whispers about Romo are intriguing. I have no idea if (or why) BP or anyone else would consider this kid "special," but it seems like lately if there's smoke, there's fire.
The most distressing thing to me about Henson of late was noticing that he has gone back to his old delivery. I haven't absorbed every bit of Henson info, so I don't know if that is a decision made by the team or if Henson just figured he would go with what works for him. If it's the latter, it probably doesn't bode well for his future with the team.
I am encouraged by Henson's play in the last game, though it looks the Fire weren't taking too many intermediate to long shots down the field (or no one was open). Still, success builds upon itself, and I'm sure Henson feels more confident after that performance.
