Here it is, the play that we lost on in 07

Just watched the whole second half again and the only negative play that Romo made that he did not convert the first down was the grounding. He converted both 1st downs after those sacks you speak about. Crayton drops or stops on 3 balls in the second half. That is more than a lot of WR drop in half a season. Romo played a great game that day and his team let him down by penalties and drops and poor protection.

I can only come to the conclusion that you have no sense....
Admit he choked and move on.

And nothing to do with the team he plays WITH...
That 2007 team was way better than the team we have now. Flozelle, Barber, Terry Glenn, Terrell Owens, Jason Witten, Greg Ellis, DeMarcus Ware, Newman, Roy Williams. Team was stacked.

Now you're just trolling him, Clove. ;)

TO was injured in that Giants game. And you can't seriously believe Barber is comparable to Zeke. That the 2007 OL has anything on this OL we have now?

I mean, if you do, then you do. Ok. You might be able to argue the defense was better than we have right now. But you have to admit that the one we have now has really stepped up in the last month.

Regardless. That was all 10 years ago, gentlemen.

Just let it go. Focus on Dak and the future. Which, oddly enough, is in one week. LOL!!!

And despite all of the evidence pointed out in this very thread, you and the same with your agenda are here saying things like Romo choked. Whatever guy. I've had far too much of you in my alerts for today so the last word is yours.

Who on this defense other than Sean Lee compares? Swap the offensive line for the defense. But that team went 13-3, I guess they had no one on the team.

10 years, two playoff wins says it all. He and his team's can't win important games. Get mad athat him and the teams he's played on not me.

Or ten years of being blind and throwing darts hoping they hit a non-existent target.
Have we gone to any NFC championship games in 10 years? What about super bowls? So he and his team's are regular season heros.

I said you could make an argument the defense in 2007 was better than the one we have now. So I already conceded that.

I also said the defense we have today figured something out in the month of December to get better. You can see that in the stats.

But that offense in 2007 was dependent on TO. The one we have now is not as dependent on one person.

So the team we have now overall, is better. Its obviously better. At least to me.

That does not mean you are wrong about Romo. But that was so long ago, Clove.

Why are we even talking about it?

that's not the Crayton drop
Yeah there was another play earlier in the game that Romo hit Crayton in stride and he dropped it. If he catches it he would have been able to score. It was a deep crossing pattern I believe and Crayton dropped the ball. That is the play I always remembered, I forgot about this play were he didn't go all out or hesitated.

I'll take it to my grave that Romo was not the reason we lost that game. Crayton, Fasano and our defense before the half did us in.

The Crayton hesitation was due to them not being on the same page. Cabo was a mistake.

This idiocy about Crayton just won't die...sadly. There were a myriad of reasons for their failure in 2007...enough to go around on both sides of the ball.

The motto of the story is this: In a game of MANY mistakes, don't be that player who makes the FINAL mistake...for that player alone will be specifically targeted as public enemy number one...like Bryant was against New York.
good point , like Romo in the seattle game or williams in the giant game.
