Here it is, the play that we lost on in 07

My thoughts: pretty good video for such an old game, HD and 60fps. Most people were still watching on square TVs at the time. Be sure to check out the rest of "Timmy Johnson's" uploads, he has some good stuff.
Oh yeah, my thoughts on the play: I'm over it.

Will we have one of these for this year...?
Only if Romo plays. Hate to say it. But, with Romo, it's always something. (Bobbled FG snap, Crayton stops running, Crayton drops ball, Dez non-catch, etc...). It's always something.

Bless you.

For those who care, fast forward to the 1:18 mark of the first video, sit back, and watch the next 47 seconds. And don't forget to glance at the score before pressing play.

I can't watch that again. I remember that drive to this day. We completely dominate the first half to give it away in 47 seconds. Lost all momentum and gave it all to the GIants.

I actually did watch the game the other day when someone posted it. What I watched was how smooth Tony was in the 1st half, and in the 2nd half, he basically had a meltdown. It was just an embarrassment of flaws in the 2nd half by the team, and by Romo. Obviously you saw a perfect QB, I did not.

I bet when you re-watched it you were sitting there blaming Romo for "over-throwing" Crayton at the end of the game. Yet clearly that was on Crayton for inexcusably--and inexplicably-- stopping mid-route.

I already went out of my way to note the crazy miss Romo had on an open T.O. He badly missed that one play. You are the one seeing the world through filtered glasses.

I'll add this: not once has Dak ever experienced the kind of pressure Romo was getting in the second half. There were two and three defenders coming free from the snap in full sprint.

this is a family forum.

but seriously is that true? he refused to come in and spell Marion?
I guess that did not come out right:laugh:

But Jones was salty that he was benched during the bye in favor of Barber. Jones sulked on the bench and wanted no parts of the game. I believe Barber had like 100 yards in the 1st half....but was gassed by halftime. I am pretty sure I read or it was reported (take that for what it's worth)....that Jones either gave minimal effort or was hard to find when the coaching staff wanted to put him in.

I'm going to be a nervous wreck next Sunday. Like Jason Garrett walking a side street in Connecticut.

Since Eli got there the Giants usually beat us by 1 play or 1 missed opportunity on our part.

What kind of fool stops their route with 23 seconds left in the game?

It is one of those head scratching moments that will haunt this team til they get back to the Super Bowl.

Not to mention the idiotic sack he took that put us in 3 and forever, the delay penalty, and numerous other QB mistakes out there. You can name 1 or 2 plays that receivers made, but like 10 or so plays that the QB makes. You need smart QB play to win in the playoffs, and we've never had that since Aikman.

Again, stick to your below average play by play updates in game threads. You're ruining your decent reputation.

The offsides on Ware was a killer, except he wasn't offsides.

There was also Crayton's drop, and there was a play where Miles Austin was wide open deep for a likely TD and Romo overthrew him badly.

Agonizing game.

Patrick Crayton

I will never, ever forget this play.

I was in Thailand, and it was like 6 am or something. I was looking all over to find a bar to watch this game.

I finally found a place that wasn't even open yet, but they had some staff in there setting up for breakfast or something. I banged on the window, and they turned the game on for me and I watched it from the lobby area of a hotel/condo type of thing.

I tuned in for the 4th quarter and I remember this play like it was yesterday. I let out one hell of an anguished scream when that pass fell incomplete.

You guys sit there and make excuses for Romo every game. In Romo's fans mind, he's NEVER done one thing wrong, except he can't win the big one.
