Correct.
Your third WR is a starter. It's not like there was a difference-making defensive player available.
I don't understand why fans just want to use the draft to fill holes. It's an endless cycle of "let this guy go, replace him with a draft pick." If you don't use the draft to build positions of strength, you'll never get better.
Wow someone with football sense! This draft is going to be the same as in the top ten, if we are still there, there isn't a can't miss defensive player, good ones yes but there is no Myles Garrett or Chase Young or Deion Sanders or even close. If Dallas is smart, and I believe they are in drafting for the most part, then they take the best player on their board in the 1st round if they can't trade down a few spots. If it is the TE out of Florida, so be it. If it is an OT, so be it. Same for the LB from Penn St and others.
To many fans want to draft a QB high because he will be "better" than Dak. So tell me is Wentz or Goff or Watson or Mayfield or Haskins or Jones or Murray or Trubisky or Winston or Darnold or others. Sure you want a Mahomes, who doesn't yet how many QBs went before him. The point is no one knows if Lawrence or Fields are going to be great QBs. Hopefully for their sake they will be.
The draft is where you improve your team (hopefully) but there is a reason half the picks or more are out of the league in two years.
