I didn't know she was even there and to be candid, with my language there and straying off topic, I should have heard from her. Of course, she might not have had a clue what I was talking about so she might have given me the benefit of the doubt that some part of it was on the topic.....not necessarily the thread I was in but some topic, somewhere on the site.

And she did post warnings to Don and OF, just should have done it privately. But she may have also seen that as an opportunity to address two of the issues publicly and it wasn't intended as a reprimand of them as I took it. The funny part is that gif of Don's was way over the line, even es got after him. The man can find anything visual he needs and if he can't., he'll make something up. That one he made of Booger's Big Top was masterful.

Nurse Ratched has a tough job getting the asylum back from the inmates and the best she can hope to do is have them leave. I mean, we turned that place into our own playground and the mods looked the other way too much.

But that's done and time to see how this one fits. One thing I don't like is this mystery about how we get likes and thread privileges. If they don't know I am not a spambot by now, they never will. And if they don't plan on it, like the rules stipulate, they should let me know I am just wasting time here.

That's frustrating. I understand the need to police against spambots and trolling, but we haven't been here a full week yet. We should give it a little more time. Why they keep it a mystery is a bit odd, but *shrug*

The Adm initially was only responding to reports. No one prob reported you.

Then when Ksk put up the pinned thread warning about attacks she prob dialed in. But I knew she was already watching then.

I was actually excited she was going to clean it up but I was already attracting so much attention that once everyone knew she was there they all started reporting me for every little thing.

I got that fixed and am getting nothing but pics of me in front of my computer, that's a little creepy so I am putting some emails back. Woodysgirl suggested ones from the site itself, not necessarily threads, and PMs. There are more features I like here than at the other one and I can see where the emails are useful, if limited.

What do you have set for your Preferences options for emailing? If you have "Automatically watch threads that you create or when you reply..." selected, you ought to be getting reply alerts. And if you have 'and receive email notifications of replies' turned off, you ought to only be getting conversation alert emails (which is primarily how you'd be getting correspondence from staff...

It's on a need to know basis. Hell, I can't even bribe Reality or Idgit with likes until I get some. And how about the Points, no explanation there either. I am beginning to think the government is running this and they think there's somebody, someplace that has the answers but there's not. Oops, shouldn't have said that, the emails are pouring in.

I was still getting emails for every action on here until I reselected emails and turned them back on, applied, then back off and replied. Now I am getting less.

I'm normally the least likely to engage with new posters, because they're beneath me. But I hung around because I felt really bad about Sarek getting benched from his own welcome thread and then the whole like button thing.

We've got mods and admins like any forum, though it's hard to tell if we've changed our titles. I'm a mod, but everybody likes me best. Except for Sam, and nobody cares what Sam thinks because he's so fat.

You can ask any staff member for assistance and we'll be either able to help you or forward your request to an admin if our mod powers are not sufficient. Reality and WG are admins, if it's not clear from the titles.
