Well according to many here, it is. I thought football was a team game until I read many posts here claiming its all on the quarterback.

So I guess I had to adopt this notion and rightfully apply that task to ALL quarterbacks, not just one. For some reason, other quarterbacks get mysterious built in excuses under the same guidelines as ours. Just ask Romo and Dak.

When our quarterbacks don't succeed its all their fault. But when other quarterbacks around the league don't succeed UNDER THE SAME EXACT GUIDELINES, it's due to a bad organization, bad coaching, bad players, and a collection of other bull**** excuses.

But then I'm told a good quarterback elevates the players around them. Apparently this only applies to OUR quarterbacks, not the others around the league.

I wouldn’t use the noise on this site as a barometer.

Assuming Jethro will cave resigning him I expect Prescott will be 2 or 3 above Goff.

What matters is cap hit, not average salary.

Burrow. 29M dollar cap hit. He's still on his rookie contract. His 5 year extension doesn't start until next year.

Goff. 27M cap hit. Just signed an extension that doesn't start until next year.

Herbert. 19M cap hit. Again, still on his rookie contract. His 5 year extension doesn't start until next year.

Jackson. 32M cap hit. On the second year of his contract.

Hurts. 13M cap hit. On the first year of his extension.

Dak is on the last year of his contract. Of course he's going to be a higher cap hit. The rest are either still on rookie deals or early years of their extensions.
