:p Thanks yall. Appreciate the acceptance.

Me and my friends used to love to breakdance to this one at the rollerskating rink back in the day. Yes, we use to breakdance even in rollerskates. I was pretty good at it, a skinny ballerina and all. Can't do it no more, of course, lol, some 30 years later. Can't believe that much time's gone by. SMH. Still miss those parachute pants. lol. The Egyptian Lover was a bad mofo with awesome beats.

I hope it's ok to play this. It's one of my favorite songs of any genre. I sing it all the time and don't care what nobody thinks. I love the message and the impact. It is a classic to me. I still love this band.

I really wanted to play Murder Was The Case, but of course couldn't find an edited "enough" version. I thought there wasn't a better story than a true one. But even the official music video wasn't edited enough. Go figure. Can't play 187, of course which is one of my favorite Snoop Dre songs. Dang. Good grief, no wonder there aint no Snoop songs on here. Jeez! This one's ahhiit. It's a good Snoop one, awesome beat yeah, that's actually edited. Dang!

Kim you used to break?! nice! Did you write, or spin as well?
Impressive bringing out Egyptian lover...... I haven't crossed that 40 barrier yet, but the skating rings was big when I was a small kid....
Arrested development? Here's my favorite by them...

44 seconds...hahah, better than nothing....

Haha, yeah:D It was just a verse from the whole song "Let's Start a Riot" by Skinny Pimp. Couldn't find full version but thought that was the best verse anyway for theme of the song, etc. UG cassette tape quality, etc.

I'm not sure what write is, there were so many moves, and moves were created as time went on. I did backspin and the variations of, tho. Never brave enough to try the headspin, although some of my crazier dude buddies did. Some of those guys were really really good. It was so fun to watch the talent, the smoothness of the flow, very fluid moves. Being a dancer, I loved the choreography of the routines they would put together, and then when they were having the "out do each other" ad lib little competitions. Just great days, great times. I still love watching breakdance videos today. Robert Plant's video for "I'm in the Mood" has two fantastic young dudes doing a heck of a job at it. It is from the 80's, but I thought it was cool he had that in his rock video. Breakdancing was extremely popular in the 80's.

I love Revolution. I am just a big AD fan. Love their voices, their music, their drums. I just love their sound period.

Here is another video that does a heck of a fun job showcasing breakdancing. Can't remember if it's been posted or not.

Ahhh, haa, a dancer.... very nice.... boogie popping and breaking defined our neighborhood as a kid in the early 80's, battles, galore. Sound Systems set up in the parks...... but I was small, and too nervous to get involved. I knew a ton of talented dancers.. NY & Philly was/is full of them.
by writing I meant graff art..... along with spinning (djing), dancing, and rapping.... I believe this to be the fundamentals of hip hop... all surrounded by the urban backdrop of course.

Thanks for the Robert Plant... that was cool, and unexpected.....

Oh, ok. Sounds like you lived where the action was, right in the thick of it. Heck, you lived inside my tv set! lol. Where I'm from, writing was just called graffiti. lol. A finable offense, what's it called? Vandalism! That's the word I'm looking for. But, I always thought some of those guys I saw on tv were very talented, I do believe a lot of it could be considered art. Some of the paintings are absolutely beautiful. But down here in South Texas, at least back then, if we had done that we would have been arrested and then beaten by our parents. lol. I am a huge fan of scratching (on the records, is that what you mean by spinning?) and I miss it in the music of today. It was a huge part of hip hop and when artists stopped doing it, I knew that the industry and generally "innocent" lifestyle was changing forever. Very sad for me. I didn't scratch myself, my mom would have killed me for destroying the records she bought me, lol, not to mention the needle on her record player, but I loved it. Yeah, Robert Plant is a very cool dude. His music post-Zep is so awesome. Check out Little By Little. Turn up the volume if you have a good system, because it is loaded with bass.

I always thought pat was cool... but you definitely have allowed me to have a higher appreciation.

Yeah, there is a major contrast bw the pop stuff and his street stuff on all of his cd's (except initial ug Murderer/Robbers cd) Chicken heads, Stay Fly, etc. is the only way his tracks get radio play. He would probably even admit to not being the best rapper in the world with his stuff relating more to street stories & aggression tracks. Personal fave but not for his "artistic prowess' necessarily, etc. and wouldn't include him with top rappers bc of his limited style/flow. He definitely has a somewhat ug/cult following bc of how gritty his tracks can get and his og street status.

Had to throw this in. Awesome videos. Awesome trucks. Awesome bass. I'm from the South.

That was entertaining as hesh...definitely original. South are definitely the kings of Bass. West Coast thumps bass in the old school gangsta rap but not in the cadence rhythm displayed in the southern style. Nice find (deftly new to me).
