Honest response

Just want ask those who wanted another player other than Elliott to just explain how they feel right now.

Not trying to enflame anyone.

I just think we all need to come together in a tense moment like this.

I post this because I care.

We need to come together for a group hug.

your hypocrisy knows no bounds, LOL.

I'll have fun watching the offense and hope this gives romo a pitch count.

also, don't want to hear excuses for romo not having a defense anymore since he has a top 5 wr, hall of fame TE, best RB and best OL.

but also wonder how many games we win with kellen moore and the vaunted run game over the next few years.

I wanted Ramsey, but think Zeke has the potential to do amazing things for us. I'm happy with the pick.

Argh we could have traded down, and still gotten Zeke, and ammo to get lynch.

I just dont get it . how do we let Murray walk... and then spend the 4th freaking overall pick on a urban myer RB?

Yup. It's already a disastrous draft. Way to go Jerrah.

According to the Jones' in their press conference, they were offered a trade down (presumably by the Ravens), and the Ravens told them that they were going to take Elliott.

Jerry also said that Elliott was the top rated player on their board.

A team can't just outscore its way to a championship. It's never happened.

Am fine with the pick. Zeke is going to be great, IMO. 3rd RB we have drafted in the top 20; other two HOF. No pressure, Zeke.

my opinion is going to be based completely on how he is used and how he performs.

If the coaches integrate him into the passing game like they did with Dunbar but expand on that in addition to him rushing the ball getting 2000 total yards and 10+ TDs well then he is Marshall Faulk and Roger Craig and I will love him.

If they use him like most of their backs and he gets a bunch of 100 yard games but is the dumpoff safety release for the QB then I will be unimpressed.

I do think his route tree is overrated and we are more likely to see at most screens, wheels, flares, and underneath stuff early in his career. Those can be deadly.

I'm excited.

Not sure the overall return is worth it. But just can't deny that the offense should scare people a bit more now.

all i can say is that....i can't see no reason to take Ramsey, we took the same player last year in Byron Jones!! Ramsey was never a consideration for me personally, the shock was Bosa going 3rd. as for the draft, Goff was my #1 choice then Elliott...so its a win for me.

I think we are headed for some long years. This organization is still playing checkers. I have to wonder if EE wasn't selected by us, how far would he have dropped?

I don't think we can get a talent like Ramsey or Lynch anytime soon. I do think we can get a comparable talent to EE if we were patient.

And generally speaking, Big-10 RB's haven't torn up the NFL lately.

what about Leveon Bell?

Good pick from across the pond.

I thought for sure Ramsey was a Cowboy and boy did it have bust written all over it! Just not the best fit for your defense. On the other hand he'll probably do very well in Jacksonville with their defense. A RB at 4 seems like a Jerry move, but the second I heard Elliot's name I got the distinct feeling that one day I'm going to hate that guys' rotten guts.
