I don't think Colt playing would have mattered. The Bama defense with the exception of one or two series, was ridiculous tonight. Bama's running game was unstoppable. Bama is just a better team.

C'mon Dallas... you can hate on UT, but they weren't weak tonight...

They did well considering circumstances...

The Texas D is young group of guys, especially the secondary. McCoy was the face of the ENTIRE team...the mere fact that UT was able to get the score to 21-24 with a freshman QB with NO experience in a NATIONAL TITLE game is remarkable.


Also McCoy's little brother and Shipley's little brother will be the next McCoy/Shipley combo for UT's future.
